I love finding myself in new spots and being happy with everything. I celebrated a wedding anniversary here, and we didn't want a fancy place but wanted quality food, and Yellowfin fits that bill. Right on the water, it gave a romantic ambiance. Service was 10/10. I wouldn't say I like it when I forget to write down our server name, but she was attentive and informative when asked questions and suggestions, which, by the way, we're spot on. We decided to try things we usually don't go for, and boy, oh boy, did it pay off! The oysters Rockefeller Chesapeake style were delicious! I am very picky about the cream of crab, and it was full of meat; you could taste the cherry, and very flavorful. The meals were equally well-seasoned and had nice portions. The lamb chops came with 6 chops; I haven't been served that many before. I added a crab cake to my meal. It wasn't the best I have had, but it was good and meaty. In all, it was an excellent experience.

You take your surroundings for granted when you live by the water. Sitting by the window overlooking the water was really nice. The food was good and the service was a bit slow. Nothing to really gush over, but the overall experience was nice.

My boyfriend and I recently had a pleasant dining experience at this restaurant, and let me tell you, the view was absolutely stunning. James, our server, was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and provided customer service that made us feel like royalty. For my meal, I opted for the Blackened Chicken Alfredo, which was decent. Meanwhile, my boyfriend tried the shrimp pesto, which he also found to be satisfactory. If you're in search of delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Went for lunch on Friday 23 Feb. Normally this restaurant gets a much better rating, however, 2 big negatives stick out. Food - 5 stars. My wife had the Crab Melt which she stated was excellent. I had the French Dip which was very good. Meat & bread were outstanding, but would have preferred an Au Jus vs the gravy like dip. Sushi was excellent (don't recall what roll it was) Ambiance - 5 stars. Had a window booth overlooking South River - need I say more. Cost - 1 star - the crab melt was market price. OK, we did NOT ask the price but we regularly get Crabcake sandwiches at The Boatyard for $27.99. When we got the bill this LUNCH Crab Melt was $57, actually I believe it was $57.99 but I'll round down. That is ridiculous. Service - 2 star -The bartender waited on us. There was nobody at the bar so I guess they were throwing her some work. She is probably a great bartender, but not so much as a server. There are so many nice places on the water that I don't think I will be returning to Yellowfin.

We are here today 03/02/24 we had to sit for over 30 minutes and I had to call the manager before they put in an order, however, the food was served in newspapers, and when we asked the waitress, he said how they serve, they are very racist, the food was very terrible, and horrible, I'll not recommend you to come here. They treat you like trash. And I'll never come back it is so sad that we're still going through this racism in the twenty-first century.

It's been soo long since I have gone out and had exceptional service and food. We came in for restaurant week, they were able to sit us immediately. The waitress came took our drink orders and allowed us to look over the menu and even explained the restaurant week options and how everything works. We placed the order and trust me when I tell you it didn't take long to receive the appetizer and the food came out timed perfectly. The place was nice, not too loud and you can tell everyone was clearly enjoying themselves.

Took the wife here to eat for dinner and had a great evening. Drinks were very good, apps were tasty and dinner was excellent. Salmon could have been a little more seasoned but was cooked very well. Spinach had just the right amount of garlic and salt and the apple pie a la mode was absolutely delicious!!

The seafood dishes are so varied and yummy. Especially good was the pasta Mediterraneo. Each type of fish was distinct not a mush of flavors!
