Got ribs and smoked chicken. Ribs were tough and chicken didn't have much if any seasoning. I thought with a full slab of ribs and whole chicken I'd get a decent amount of sides, but got a small amount of green beans, greens and mac and cheese, all pretty mediocre. Web menu says hush puppies are included, but didn't get any. Should have ordered seafood, I guess... Would not recommend. Miss Mr. Grubb!

I had crabs for the first time on Father's day by pre order. They were freshly steamed upon arrival. customer service was excellent they were brought out to our car as soon as they were steamed. Not to mention they were full large crabs! we will definitely be back to this hidden jem by meadow ridge cemetery in Elkridge!!

Best, freshest seafood I've ever had in my life. Also, you can't go wrong with the BBQ sandwiches at all. Highly reccomend everything, and the service was great!!!

Went there after my Uncle’s funeral. I think it’s because we could smell the meat grilling in the front lol. Great idea thou! Service was phenomenal and food was so good! Congratulations Dave and Laura you have the perfect restaurant with delicious food!

Attempted to patronize the DR Seafood & BBQ location on Rt.1 and Meadow Ridge Rd (Elkridge) at 9:21am and before I could fully exit my car the staff member came out to inform me that I could not park in front of their establishment (assuming I was parking for another business in the area).I then stated, I was coming to patronize you all to which he then responded with the same unpleasant attitude that they are not open and if I saw the sign (which was off). I then said ok, didn't know what time you all opened was just coming in to check. He then yelled 10-6pm very non-chalantly and shut the door.I would never patronize this establishment ever again!!! Glad I didn't spend my money and would caution you just the same.

This review is for the brick and mortar location on 103. The second star is for the friendliness of the staff and the nice, clean interior. Sadly, the food was barely mediocre. I had the fried shrimp platter and every part of it was terrible. The shrimp was pounded so thin and was so overbreaded and overcooked that I'm not sure there actually was any shrimp in there. The mac & cheese and collards were just bland. I'm not sure they had any salt or seasoning at all. The food from the truck up the road on Rt 1 was always so good, I'm not sure how things could have gone so wrong at this location.

THEY GOT ME, but they won't ever get me again! Decided to give them a try, and they absolutely 'did disappoint'! They got me for $82 for a dozen barely large male RESTEAMED crabs and a pit beef sandwich on a (no kidding) fresh Kaiser roll with dry beef and tiger sauce that tasted spoiled. I asked for beef with medium heat. The sandwich went into the trash and the best I could salvage out of the crabs was to crack them for the two lumps of meat that was not bone dry. NEVER AGAIN!

Customer service was excellent, very kind and polite. I ordered a full rack of ribs with fries and green beans. The fries were amazing and hush puppies were a nice surprise. But the ribs were horrible. The cashier said they make everything fresh but ribs were tough to bite into and ended up only eating 1 and throwing the rest in trash.

This is for the new brick and mortar establishment on Route 103. The girl seemed kind of prickly at first, but then she turned out to be super sweet. They let me order ahead and pick up at closing, which I really appreciated. Shrimp was FANTASTIC! Cream of crab, hush puppies and coleslaw were just ok. Looking forward to trying the crabs.

If you want crabs, skip the pricey waterfront places and take home delicious steamed crabs from the DR Food Truck. We got a dozen extra large at the beginning of the season in May. They were heavy, juicy, and had a perfect amount of seasoning. You can't order in advance - you order at the truck and they bring them to your car. They also have an extensive menu of other seafood items, plus pit beef. All of which I want to try at some point, but it's hard to get past those delicious crabs.

Oh my goodness! I'm a Marylander and we are "picky" about our hard shell crabs. They have to have the right seasoning, spice, and be moist (not overcooked). The crabs on Mother's Day were superb. They must put magic in that steamer! You order when you get there (so the crabs don't sit in a bag and overcook) and then they bring the food to your car. We only had the crabs, but their menu is fairly extensive. I'm looking forward to trying the pit beef and the soft shell crabs next time (with more steamed crabs).

Thank god for the people out there that eat McDonald's and think its good because those are the type of people keeping this place alive .
