I looked up the address on my phone. And I was surprised when the storefront was a different name. I was excited to try this place. But it’s the worst Indian food I’ve had. We got the chicken biryani which had chicken wings in it with barely any meat. Also the rice was very bland. The butter chicken masala had a weird oil layer between the chicken and sauce. It wasn’t bad but the chicken was also dried. The only thing that wasn’t bad was the samosa and chutney sauce. We ended up throwing most of it out. I wished I spent my money at one of the other Indian restaurants in the area.

The food is reasonably priced, delicious, and it seems very authentic. Be careful with selecting your spice level because “medium” here is more like “hot” or “extra hot” at most westernized restaurants. The restaurant itself is clean and decorated nicely. I believe the restaurant owner (and/or head chef) himself serves food, takes orders on the phone, and processes payments at the front counter. He is friendly, professional, and I’d imagine he is hard working to run so much of the restaurant on his own. Unfortunately, the location of the restaurant is somewhat hidden, so this place may be a hidden gem. My only criticism is that I ordered a saucy entree, saag chicken, and rice wasn’t included by default. I’ve never had to order rice separately for saag before.

The name and menu have changed - I believe it's now Zainab's Kitchen? Not all items are listed on the physical in store menu, such as samosas, which is confusing. Got the Chicken Butter Masala, Chicken Biryani, and Samosas. Food was done quickly and everything was good! I ordered medium spice and was definitely spicy! Would love to see more vegetable options, right now it looks like they only have Chana Masala per online menu.

Extremely slow service, they double charged for my entree, and the lamb curry was almost exclusively bones and gristle. I do not recommend giving them your business.

Only room for one pair of diners, but the butter chicken and goat curry were fresh and expertly seasoned. Too much rice, not quite enough chapati, but we were treated very well! Took the leftover sauce home and served over cashews later. Hope to be back soon!

SMALL portions and didn’t have Naan….. gave us 3 pounds of rice.

Ordered from here for the first time. Everything was wonderful and cooked perfectly. We got a variety of their chicken dishes (65, butter, biryani and fried rice) and loved every one of them. My personal favorite was the Chicken 65, but the butter chicken was the favorite of the group. My only complaint is amount of chicken in the butter marsala. I wish it had more, but it was still enough for one person.

I come to area a lot to get poke and have always wanted to try something from this place. I finally tried some snacks this time and I'm definitely coming back for more. I got the samosa and mirchi bhajji and both of them are delicious. The samosa is very crispy and the filling is tasty. But I feel like samosas are very hard to mess up and most Indian takeouts and restaurants have great samosas. The mirchi bhajji is what really hooked me. Usually, at other places, it becomes soggy on the inside or the mirchi is soft but the ones here are crispy and crunchy inside and out. The size of each bhajji is huge and they give you a big enough portion for what you pay. I've read the other reviews and now want to try the other dishes. I definitely recommend this place, if not for anything else, try the mirchi bhajji. I'll update the review once I try other dishes.

First of all...I was told it would take 30 minutes, it took 1 hour with no other customers in sight or calling.-Small servings.-Chicken 65, extremely dry.-Medium Goat Curry, extremely hot but I was starving and toughed through it. Every bite seemed to have something hard and my dish became inedible which made me want to write a review.-Mild butter chicken, tasteless, not mild, random chunks of vegetables, 5 chunks of dry chicken.Maybe they had an off day. ?

Quite disappointed with the quality of food . Ordered Goat biryani , Chicken biryani , Chilli chicken and since they did not have naan , they strongly suggested us to order paratha. So now talking about the quality .. the goat peices were very tough in the biryani.. Chicken biryani was ok .. and chilli chicken did not look like chilli chicken .. Paratha was as if they opened a store bought malay paratha and half cooked it ..I had to cook it on the tawa again :-( This was the first time we tried food here and would definitely be the last time for sure !!!! What a let down as we were very eager to try food here due to the postive reviews that we had read..

Solid food. If you ask for “hot” then be prepared to have a glass of milk with your meal.

The worst experience of inedible excruciating hot (nuclear) level... the issue is we ordered medium.I called them to verify they wrote down correctly 'medium' request. Since I lived in India for a year I'm not new to how to order Indian food. She verified it was 'medium' and suggested I order 'mild' next time.I was almost more disappointed with their lack of customer service to make us happy. So we tossed out all the food and decided to never order from them again and stick with Royal Taj if you want the best food and the best flavor and service.

Rarely do I wish to post a negative review without giving the restaurant an opportunity to make an error right. With that said I called to see if there was a mistake on what they wrote down for my order because the heat of my meal was nuclear hot... this is coming from a huge fan hot wings. She said I should have ordered mild. I can’t even imagine what there hot choice is with mediums being impossible to enjoy. My wife and I threw out the whole meal and wrote it off as a bad decision.Mild typically has no flavor and their medium was level 10 heat... I guess their hot goes past 11.My experience with Indian... I lived there for a yearMild 3Medium 6Hot 9Horrible customer service and ability to have a edible medium choice and opportunity to make it right.
