What a wonderful restaurant! We were visiting the area so didn't have the level of familiarity with the staff that other customers did (it's kind of like family; servers knew the drinks folks would want as they were seating them), but we received excellent service nonetheless. The food was served quickly, was hot, and - most importantly - was absolutely delicious. There are numerous dessert choices, all worth trying. We loved it enough to return the next day!

The service is ok and the folks there are kind. But the food is mediocre at best. I got the prime rib sliders and it was one of the most tasteless meals I've ever had. The onion rings were ok.

The service was fantastic. The decor is superb. The atmosphere was electric. There was a band playing more older music than contemporary. The food was very good. Came out very hot and very fast. Sat at the bar. I will definitely try this place again next time I'm in Elkton and looking to get something to eat. What I had was the shrimp and scallops on "vegetable rice" with pickled beets. It was very good. Not really a fan of the rice. I would have preferred it on a pilaf. My two friends had the chicken fried steak which he said was fantastic, and the other guy had these black Angus sirloin? I think that's what they called it. He said it was very good and cooked perfectly.Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible

Have been regulars here for many years. Menu has been fairly static with tried & true options and daily featured specials. Cuisine is diverse, fairly basic, but always fresh, served hot as needed and portions won't leave you hungry. Service is predictably reliable with a fairly stable staff. Seating is comfortable with good acoustics. Burgers are excellent and Friday Mac & Chz is a must! Platters are inclusive. Large seated bar is complemented by live music on selected weekends. Baker's is a landmark and a local favorite! Bravo!

A once wonderful place of my childhood. Now a cess pool of favouritism. Synopsis: I am a Reverend Dr and ThD. Bakers broadcasts Christian "lures" on its marquee. Do Not be fooled. Holidays? Yes. You will receive excellent service and food. Regular days? It was blatantly apparent if you're not local, you're not welcome. Christian? A disgraceful ruse. The service WAS AWFUL! The food? Shell fragments in the seafood, items we did not order added to the bill, no offer of desert, check handed mid meal, no water or beverage checks, waitress cowtowing to others in an otherwise empty restaurant. Runniest chicken and dumplings of my 52 years, the owners parents I think would hide their heads in shame. We went there after a funeral. I changed my collar for a tie. I'm glad I did because I've seen their true colours. Do not go there (other than Christian holidays) expecting any kind of respect. Mamon means more there than God, the "front" is a lure and trap. Do NOT go there for honest food. Do go there expecting ignorance and to choke. Avoid the Cole slaw ( clearly left out for hours), DO take first an immodium, Do expect to be clearly indicated " you don't belong here." Almost 50 years of holiday patronage.. and now shown my foolishness.

Stopped there today,12/9/23, for the first time after driving by so many times. It was all around AMAZING!!! The inside was so beautifully decorated. A Winter Wonderland. I wish I had taken pictures! The Waitress we had was so great! She had us laughing from the second she came over. She was a great lady! I had the Crab Bisque to start. I have to say it is at the top of the ones I ever had. Real crab. I could tell by the piece of shell I got which didn't bother me a bit because to me that shows me it has real crab meat and homemade! Then I had the hamburger steak. A bit too much char for my taste but still good. Homemade Mashed and Broccoli as my sides. I also got an orange crush which was made just perfectly. All around this is a must stop if you are ever in the area! I will definitely be back!

There is a reason they have been open for so many years, we had 12 seats and everyone ate together and all meals were hot ?. Good home style with flare and friendly staff.
