Overall - if you don't make it in house then don't serve it. Stopped by for what was a highly anticipated dinner. For folks looking a for a traditional Mexican menu will quickly find that Villa Corona is unique in that they have a strong focus towards Seafood. Went for lunch on a Sunday, which was our second visit. Only a few tables, so not busy at all. Food was quite good--I had the camarones a la diabla (even though the shells are still on so you have to work at it), one had the bacon-wrapped shrimp, and my wife went with the chicken quesadilla. Service was quite poor--took over 90 minutes total time for our party of 5. My partner and I stopped in to Villa Corona for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. It was someplace my partner had wanted to try for quite some time, and I'd say we had a great experience! I've never been to a Mexican restaurant that specializes in seafood--Villa Corona fits a tasty niche. We enjoyed our burritos, and the service was reasonably attentive.
