Steamed chicken is a Chinese specialty which is fantastic. Nice little touches as well. Service was great.

Was there for a funeral reception recently, food was very goodParking: More parking at the bank behind the restaurant if you can't find parking in front.Wheelchair accessibility: Not very wheelchair friendly, can manage. Aisles are fairly narrow, they can barely squeeze the dim sum carts by without hitting your chair.

I think my bias comes from being a new comer. Ive never eaten here before and thought walking in was gonna be easy and smooth. no, the lady with short hair and in a pant suit walked over and looked at me, i responded quickly “just a table for one” i began to feel uneasy. they gave me green tea quickly and a paper with some writing on it. An older lady pushing a cart nearby stopped her chat with a family nearby to come and ask me “what do you want?” i asked her if i could order of the menu, she then told me “no this is not on the menu, I dont have the menu food” which seemed bazar to me. she handed me two plates of “dumplings” which i was not a fan of at all. it took 2 different waitresses passing by to notice i didnt touch any of the food and asked me if i wanted to take it home. i said no and then an elderly man came up to me and i asked can i order off the menu. he said yes took my order and no more than 6-7 minutes later they were out. absolutely delicious. but when i asked the same lady in the pantsuit if i could order more dumplings and if there was a possibility of comping the unfinished food that was taken away, she refused and so i just asked for my check and paid in cash. maybe i was wrong for touching the food and being a “clueless american” but i just didnt get the vibe they cared for new customers, just their “regulars”. quick to greet them or wave on facetime to others. i just felt absolutely awful. im glad i paid in cash. hopefully if i can forget about it, ill try venturing out into “food courts” again!

This is the best Asian/Chinese restaurant we have visited in four decades, no kidding. The food arrived very quickly, was plentiful, and delicious. The place was clean, and staff were bright and positive. We cannot wait to go back!

Eating in the restaurant is ok, but takeout isn’t good. The broccoli was mushy and overcooked, no crab in the crab Rangoon only cream cheese, and no sweet and sour sauce was given at all for my sweet and sour chicken. Disappointing. Also, they need to update their menu because their prices are more now.

Disappointing Experience with Reservations During Lunar New Year Celebration I am thoroughly disappointed with my recent experience trying to book a large group at Asian Court for the Lion Dance celebration during the Lunar New Year. Two weeks in advance, I reached out to make a reservation for a party of 16, assuming that planning ahead would secure us a spot on such a busy occasion. Unfortunately, I was informed that Asian Court does not accept reservations and operates strictly on a 'first come, first serve' basis. With this information, I diligently called the day before the event to confirm this policy, only to be told something entirely different. The person on the phone casually mentioned that all four of their large round tables had been reserved already. This was perplexing, to say the least, considering the information I had previously been given. When I questioned this inconsistency, stating that I had been told there were no reservations, the response was simply that those reservations were made for people who personally knew the owner. This insider favoritism is not only unfair but also unprofessional, especially when it isn't communicated clearly to other customers who might also want to plan for special occasions. It's quite clear that the 'first come, first serve' policy is not applied equally. Needless to say, my group was left stranded without a table on a major holiday celebration, which led to great inconvenience and disappointment. I'm afraid I cannot recommend Asian Court if you're looking to host a large group for an event or celebration, as their policies might change on a whim, depending on who you are or whom you know. This kind of unpredictable service and preferential treatment is unacceptable and tarnishes what could have otherwise been a joyous cultural experience. I guess you need to be Chinese in order to make a reservation.

I have been here many times - the dimsum are very good and the ladies who bring the carts around are wonderful. Service is friendly and accommodating. Only problem is the carry-out. Every time I've ordered carry-out, there has been a problem. The order is never ready on time or even close to the time requested. Last time the host berated me for ordering online the night before. (Also, others who order carry-out were waiting too.) No apology, just embarrassed me. I requested a refund of the "convenience fee" and gratuity through the online servicer (it's the principle of the matter) and they said they would look into it. No other response. Next time I want dimsum I will drive to Mai Dragon in Hanover. Edit - shortly after I posted this review, I received an email from the online servicer that my refund for the "convenience fee" and gratuity was being refunded.

Wow!!! We just happened to be in Ellicott City and decided to eat here... huge menu with a large section devoted to Dim Sum, the restaurant was packed with a nice atmosphere but they were still able to seat us quickly with no wait. The food was delicious and authentic unlike the mild tasting Chinese-American so many restaurants around this area tend to serve. We will definitely be back!

this place is my favorite dim sum that I've found so far in Maryland! the food is always delicious and prices are very reasonable. on the weekends the place can get busy, but I've never had to wait too long. the people are nice and sometimes can be a bit rushed, but that's understandable as it's a super busy place and there is a lot going on! will continue to come here and bring my out of town guests here too!
