“Ellicott Distilling Co. is a nice little bar that has a small inside and also a decently-sized outdoor patio on the hills. They have a solid menu of cocktails, as well as some fantastically-named game and movie themed ones. All drinks tasted good, and we had some small appetizers that were fine. This place is worth checking out if you're in town and want to get a cocktail! They also have many events, so check out their lineup to see if anything is of interest (e.g., make your own infused vodka lesson).“
“I have been eyeing this place for a while since I've been on the hunt for really good tonkatsu meals. It was one of the handful to pop up as a recommendation for the Ellicott area. I'm proud to say that I've found it-- the best tonkatsu restaurant. The waiter was very nice and attentive, and it paired well with the calm ambiance. There's pretty lights and seating. It was not busy at all when we visited but I hope in the future it will get a lot more popular-- because this place is such a golden find! We ordered the tonkatsu (pork cutlet) with curry, the chicken katsu curry, and takoyaki balls! The breading in the meat was so crispy, and the meat was plentiful, with good ratio. There was no fat pieces found in any of our meals. The food was also cooled to an edible temperature that you could consume once it was served! The curry comes on the side in a large cup, ensuring your meat does not get soggy. “Went back to the Trolley Stop for the first time in over ten years and had a good time and meal. Wife and I split a Caesar salad and French Onion Soup as course #1, the Caesar salad with blackened chicken was delicious, like really really great, the way they dressed it was just perfect and the chicken was not "too blackened" just right. The French onion soup was very good, tasty and cheesy but not too cheesy, just right. For our entrees, my wife and I split a mushroom, bacon, swiss burger and the French Dip. The French dip was probably the lowest point of the night, you had to pay extra to get it with cheese and fried onions (that put the sandwich up close to $20) and it just wasn't that great, not bad, but nothing special, just a big pile of roast beef that needed a dip in the au jus to taste good. The Swiss Bacon burger was delicious, cooked perfectly to medium (so many places overcook when you ask for medium, this had a perfect pink center), very tasty bacon, just very good. Our trip was probably 4.5 stars, we will come back!“
“Nice establishment in Old Ellicott City - went by myself on a Monday afternoon and was able to easily find a seat at the bar upstairs (which is what they recommended). I ordered the Bird's the Word sandwich, which was good. I'll definitely try the Nashville hot version next time. I also appreciated the fries which were not soggy and not too crunchy.All the staff were friendly and attentive.Also I parked in lot D (free) and walked a few minutes around the corner.“
“Excellent salads. “Baby Salads” were large and tasty before our entrées. I had the shrimp carbonara which was very nice with large shrimp. 2 others had the scallops special with risotto and loved it. Large portions which we all enjoyed as leftovers the next night. Heath Bar bread pudding with vanilla ice cream was a decadent ending. Service was good, but we were seated by the kitchen which was the only minor disappointment of the evening.“

“I am very pleased with my time had at All American. I came with an extremely large group of soccer players and their families and was definitely worried about all of them getting sorted. We had a great section of seats and the food was great after a long cold day. The staff was amazing, especially the two waitresses who were the main faces who constantly made sure all of the families were good. I am very appreciative of how well everything went! Thank you!“
“Manor Hill is an absolute gem located in Old Ellicott City! The service is always amazing and the servers create a very welcoming environment. It's definitely a little louder of an environment so that's something to keep in mind. I could go on and on about the pizzas, they're definitely something everyone needs to try. It's meant for one person but I always have leftovers so you could definitely share it with someone. The street fries are an absolute must try if you come here. Definitely a fun place to come with friends or for a fun night out!“
