This place is so bizarre! Went in and had an ok experience. Yooke je jang was alright. Had the bossam which was very fresh but the sesame oil on top ruined it.Thought it would be great to get some food Togo and ordered the monk fish stew. For 50 dollars you would think they would add actual pieces of fish but they only added beansprouts. And for those of you who don't know a 5 pound bag of beansprouts is 5.99.Don't get take out. Maybe stick with bbq

Food is always good, service is a bit slow. Only gave 3 star review because I was told by the server that it was their policy that I couldn't take all of my left over food to go. Only the main dish. Korean food is served with assortment of side dishes and I wanted to take what I had left over home with my main course. I found the rule ridiculous. I should be able to take what I paid for home.

My first time trying a Korean place in Maryland and I absolutely love it here. The waitress was so helpful and nice. There were about 9 or so side dishes that they had to offer (even if you didn't order the bbq). The short ribs were also flavorful and the Kimchi soup did not disappoint. Would definitely come back!

Food was mediocre for the price. Their side dishes are good but the bibimbap was average. The service was non existent and we had to ring the bell for people to stop by.

This Korean restaurant offers delicious home-style dishes accompanied by a variety of flavorful side dishes (banchan). We thoroughly enjoyed every dish; they were so good that we finished them all. The staff was also very kind and accommodating.

The food at the restaurant was not so bad, although not the best compared to other Korean restaurants. However, the behavior of the staff was extremely rude. We arrived at around 8:30 PM since they close at 10 PM. By 9 PM, the staff started sighing and giving us angry looks. We were all adults, ranging from our mid-40s to 60s, and we were not complaining or causing any disturbance. We were simply there to enjoy our meal and the moment. One Korean staff member approached us with a very angry expression and told us we should leave because it was almost 9:30 PM. It was clear that they wanted to close early. I have never encountered such rude behavior from staff members in any other restaurant. It's not just because they asked us to leave early; it's their overall demeanor--angry faces, refusing to make eye contact, speaking rudely. One of the staff members even told me, "You can't do this," although I'm not sure what she meant. Perhaps she was implying that we shouldn't visit their restaurant at night.I don't usually leave public reviews, but I feel compelled to let them know that they should not run their business with such angry staff members. This was my first and last visit.

Let's keep this simple. They are not cleaning there vegetables properly. Bugs are not cleaned off. The 2 ladies admit they knew exactly where the bug was from. I'm assuming this has happend before. If it's a ingredient they know bugs are coming from they should stop using the ingredient. It's not even a ingredient found in budae jjigae typically. First time for me having watercress in Korean army stew (budae jjigae).I never been so sick and grossed out. I was at the tail end of my "budae jjigae" in my bowl aka Korean army stew. I flipped over a hotdog and a bug was attached to the hot dog. This restaurant was mentioned in a Facebook group "Howard county eats". Someone mentioned it was under new management and it was good. I beg to differ.

I ordered the lunch special called sul lung tang. It had absolutely no meat in the soup. I got cold rice that I believe was from the night before. I guess I got there before they could make a new batch in the morning. I informed the lady and all she said was SORRY. If you want real korean food cooked by a Korean chef this is not the place. They have a non-korean cooking the food which is fine but I doubt they know how true korean food tastes. I heard they changed ownership recently. Horrible food and even worse service when I informed them about my issues.

Hands down best KBBQ in Ellicott City. We have been to many of the KBBQ establishments within Ellicott city and this is absolutely the best. The food is to die for. Delicious cuts of meat. The sides are awesome! The seafood pancake was out of this world!Highly recommend if you are a fan of Kbbq.Tonight was our first time here, definitely won’t be the last. We will likely only go here from now on.. it’s hard to justify going for kbbq anywhere else! The service was also amazing! The owners son made us feel like VIPs and answered any questions we had!Such a great atmosphere, we are so happy we found this gem!
