This diner sets the bar. Every time I drive by or stop in its completely packed. When I walked in it reminded me of the classic NJ diners. I've dined here in the past for lunch, but recently stopped in for their new weekly lobster and crab cake specials. Food quality here is always high. I love their soups, burgers, seafood and milkshakes. The dining room is huge and the lighting is great. They have an extensive menu so you're bound to find something delicious. The marketing team here is awesome. Very active on social media and local area blog sites. No need for reservations here. Even with their seafood special nights you'll find a table fairly quickly.

Came on a busy Saturday morning. We were seated within 5 minutes and our server came over as soon as we sat down. Our food came out quickly and was so delicious! Hash was nice and crispy! We were pleasantly surprised and can’t wait to come back for other meals and one of their famous milkshakes

We went for an early dinner because my four year old granddaughter wanted French toast for her birthday dinner. The menu is huge! Everything we had was delicious. The bakery case is gorgeous! The service was outstanding! They made such a fuss over our little girl’s birthday ?. She said she wants to go there every year for her birthday. I can’t thank the crew at EC Diner enough. You really made her day special! We will most certainly be back.

First let me say I reallly like EC however today I ordered a Mexican omelette. It came with hashbrowns and toast and it taste. OK perfect good the problem was it wasn’t an Omelette It was scrambled eggs with the ingredients mixed in and flatten out. I don’t know because if they were busy, that’s how they made it, but it certainly was not an Omelette . I did not get a Fluffy three egg omelette if this is normal, they should change the name of what they’re serving

We just celebrated my son’s 7th birthday at EC diner. Our server Jo took the best care of us and made my son feel so special. The host was so helpful too. Thank you to the staff who shut down the restaurant to sing him happy birthday! Food was delicious too!!

Visit here with my friends for brunch before the raft. The portion of food is a lot and tasted really good. Typical American food. Interior and exterior were very classic. Heard they have really good milk shakes. Definitely want to try if I visit Maryland next time.

Much better than we expected! Went to eat here with a friend & as soon as we walked in we were greeted by the host and (possibly manager or owner) we were a little cold so they sat us where the AC vents were not at. Temperature was much better where we were seated. Checkered floors and dining area gave us a old school movie vibe so we were expecting burgers and fries. Our waiter, Bryce (who was really great & had wonderful customer service skills) explained the menu to us and made great suggestions! If your looking for anything crab with unique options, this is your place! They offer crab fries, crab nachos, crab cakes, crab egg rolls etc. Bryce explained to us that everything crab was really good. I was hesitant because I have been to many Baltimore seafood restaurants that have really great crab cakes. Listen- he didn’t lie! The crab cake sandwich we ordered was outstanding- large crab meat chunks, great flavor, no filler just a great crab cake on a brioche bun. The crab fries were great too! All in all, the customer service and food is more than what you would expect from a diner for sure! When you leave, you will be mesmerized by the cakes and desserts they have at the front. I took a carrot cake to go, and WOW! It’s better than it looks. So moist and fresh!

I had a late lunch/early dinner, Wednesday, August 18th, 2022. I ordered the Reuben sandwich, fries, and a diet coke. The soda wasn't mixed correctly, with too much syrup. The fries weren't fresh. Probably cooked earlier, but not sold. They were slightly warm. I told the waiter who brought another order of fries. They were exactly the same except they were most likely heated in a microwave. The sandwich was grilled but there was too much moisture and the bread was breaking apart. I could not hold it so I ate part of it with a knife and fork.

Winner winner pan-seared sea scallops dinner. Every bit the equal of the sea scallops I had when I was in Massachusetts. Am fairly sure that one restaurant was a branch of Legal Sea Foods. The portion was quite substantial, guessing around a dozen fairly large sea scallops. Five stars also for the Greek salad with the two buck upcharge. It was substantially larger than a side salad. The oven-roasted potatoes were also a large portion and a healthy alternative to fries. Also got the pickled beets but broccoli is also offered as one of the two sides.

Favorite local diner. It's so good. The food is homemade and fresh. The breakfast sausage is top notch. The country fried steak is on point. Can't wait to try it for lunch or dinner. Great job EC Diner for quality food and service.
Great selection. I always go for a breakfast item or a milkshake. Sometimes both :) the Milkshakes are delicious (see photo) and the pancakes were delicious.

I love this place and always recommend it as my favorite diner in the area. I've been here once before for the strawberry cheesecake extreme milkshake and it was amazing! As for today's breakfast, I NEVER order steak & eggs unless I really trust the place because I'm always worried the steak will be low quality or not cooked to my liking. I ordered mine medium rare and it was cooked EXACTLY as I requested, tasted great, juicy and delicious. Our server was very kind and attentive.

Best crab cake EVER. They do great salads, great burgers. Love everything I have tried. The only BUT is the excess of plastic containers. Huge container for salad dressing and sides and too thick plastics for takeout and delivery. If they improved that I would order more often than I do and It would be better overall.

This is becoming my new favorite place. Service is quick, servers are friendly. Food is tasty and establishment looks clean. You'll want to get one of every dessert they look so good! I've done dine in and carry out. And I've had breakfast food and dinner food.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly Parking: FreeWheelchair accessibility: I didn't see how someone in a wheelchair could get it. It may have been a ramp on the other side of the entrance we went in. I would call to confirm. I may have just missed seeing the ramp.
