I ordered Ernesto's taco bar catering for the office Super Bowl party, and the food and service were outstanding!!! We had so much food and it was all fresh and delicious. Amy and her assistant were so helpful with setting up everything for us. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates friendly service and excellent food.

I had a taste for some tamales, so I decided to try here. Dry dry dry, no lard was used here. Let them close down or put some good old ladies in the kitchen.

I decided to try this restaurant yesterday, since I was in the area dropping off my eyeglasses in the same shopping center and I can honestly agree with all of the one star reviews! Food was WEAK! The chicken in my chimichanga was old, the shrimp in my taco's were cut up into small pieces and the salsa tasted like runny ketchup with a tang to it. The lady at the register was impatient with me because I was undecided on what to order by slapping her hand on the receipt machine.... But I kindly, tapped my hand on the receipt machine and told her, "Don't do that!" Keep in mind the place was empty! With all the negative reviews, I cannot understand how they actually have two restaurants! In addition, with all the negative reviews here, I have not read ANY RESPONSE FROM MANAGEMENT! I DEFINITELY, WIL NOT BE RETURNING AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND IT! CHIDO'S in Laurel, MD is by far the best Mexican restaurant in the area.

I think the food is okay. The service is too slow for what i have ordered. The price of the food seems to be on the high side when it is all said and done. And i can never tell if it is oprn or closed based on the presence of patrons.

The people are so sweet and so nice but the food is nasty. I got the nachos and it was all chips and lettuce with a few crumbs of ground beef. The shrimp tacos were also bland and dry. The tres leches was good but everything else was trash 1/10 !

Truth be told, I somewhat enjoyed my food. I ordered the chick chimichunga, and it was mediocre at best. My friend ordered an enchilada with a tamale. Tamale was flavorless, I do not recommend it. Service was alright.

We just finished our last meal at what had been our go-to for Tex-Mex. Ernesto's was not particularly busy when we arrived shortly after 6 pm on Sunday. I ordered the Carne Asada y Enchilada, detailed on the menu as including flour tortillas, guacamole, and pico de gallo. I asked to substitute corn tortillas, and our server agreed. When it arrived, I realized the tortillas weren't served and asked for them. The server said he thought I meant for the enchilada - I explained I was also supposed to get some with the meal. As I finished part of the meal and was waiting for a box for the leftovers I realized I also hadn't had the pico de gallo or the guacamole. When our server arrived with the box, I pointed out the omissions. He asked me if I wanted them for carryout. Well, yes. Since they were part of the meal we were buying. He emerged some minutes later with a small portion of each in a carryout box. I noted yo him that clearly the kitchen had issues. As we left I asked for the manager. This is something I do rarely. The manager explained that our server had already told him, because the kitchen initially refused to give him the carryout box of the 2 items, claiming they were served. While the manager was apologetic, I was furious at being called a liar. I don't know if the photo will upload, but the amount was certainly less than what would have been served on the plate. I told the manager I would never eat there again. And now we know why Ernesto's -- which used to be busy on weekends -- was not tonight. Never again.

I love Ernestos. They will make anything for you if you ask and if they have it in stock. The service is like being around family. Feel free to be creative with the menu.

Came here with my wife and brother. Gave me food poisoning and I was throwing up for a couple of hours. The “steak” had obviously gone bad. We knew we were in trouble when the appetizers came out looking and tasted like they were cooked on a car engine. Nothing tasted good and the service was sub par.

Some of the worst fish tacos I've ever had. Tasted way too fishy like the meat had been sitting in the fridge for days. The rest of the food was lack luster. Disappointing considering they did a redo of the restaurant recently.

They were understaffed for Cinco de Mayo. The margaritas were just okay.

We love this place! The food is authentic and fresh, and the staff is warm and friendly. We have enjoyed many margaritas both there and to go. Easily our favorite place for Mexican food in Columbia. The ambience is very laid-back with no pressure to eat and leave.
