Weird experience over all. Food was alright but the weird part was our server carded only myself of a table of 6 people around 23-28 years old. The moment he only carded myself (25), j jokingly said “only me?” And he looked at just my ID and walked away. Felt weird he didn’t card the rest of the table and I wasn’t even the youngest at the table. Kind of set the tone for the subpar service we received as if he thought we were young and therefore we wouldn’t tip well, the kind where he checks on you 20 minutes after you’ve started eating your food or brought hot sauce 10 minute after you asked. It was just weird over all… I don’t know that I’d willing want to return.Just to touch on the food, Mexican salad was good but the Mexican dressing tasted like salt and chipotle seasoning in olive oil and it was a LOT of salt.

Chili Verde and tacos al carbon are my favorites. If you love spicy, they have a habanero sauce that is not on the menu but you can ask for it .

If you have not gone here you are missing out. The food is always fresh and warm, while the drinks are always cold. The place is very chill, even having a fireplace. Staff were nice and never mean. Would recommend the Grilled Chicken!

The food is Tex-Mex, the service is fast and it is very large inside with two bars in addition to having a patio.The atmosphere is super nice, good music.When we go with friends for a motorcycle ride this is the perfect place to have a cold beer in Ellicot City, MD USA.

The authenticity of the Mexican food here is unparalleled – every bite bursts with flavor and freshness. The portions are incredibly generous, I couldn't even finish my plate! And let's talk about the customer service – it's beyond exceptional. The staff, especially the bartender in the dining area, went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. Not to mention, the owner and staff were incredibly gracious to my sister and me. Needless to say, I've already marked my calendar for a return visit this Friday. La Palapa is a very solid Mexican / TexMex restaurant. It serves very solid classic dishes that are hard to disappoint, and the portions are quite large. The queso appetizer was particularly good - a hint of spice that gave an otherwise bland dish much more flavor. Lots of things are covered in cheese here. It's a pretty large restaurant with multiple seating areas and a bar area. The best part about this restaurant, though, are the margaritas. Multiple flavors to try, and you can order by the glass or pitchers for the table.

Everything was great. The amount of food was good and seasoned perfectly. I had beef enchiladas, they could have put a bit more beef to make them perfect. Atmosphere is comfortable and our server looked after our every need. I will definitely visit this place again AAA+++
