I tried half-half chicken and other two dishes. They were so-so. But, It is a restaurant with an atmosphere that made me think of a Korean pub. One downside was no draft beer!

The spicy pork stir fry is excellent. The waiter suggested the kimche pancake which was tasty with the perfect heat. Will be here again!

Terrible food terrible service. Ellicott City has way better places to offer. The bathroom was clean at least. They forced us to order food even though we only wanted alcohol. They did not tell us that was a rule before we ordered. They said we "didn't order enough alcohol for the size of our party" so we needed to order an entree. We asked if we could just get an appetizer since some were the same price as some entrees and they could not give a good reason for why we could not. They just kept saying "you're a big party you know what I mean," meanwhile half the restaurant was empty as it was a weeknight so what kind of business are they really losing if we don't order food ???? Not like people were lining up outside. They eventually let us get one appetizer but only if we also ordered another bottle of soju. We got the kimchi fries and they were bland and soggy. Did not taste like kimchi at all. They also stopped refilling our water as it got closer to closing time. This place does not care about its customers and the employees do not have common sense. We might have become recurrent visitors but not anymore.

Really fun Korean gastropub. This place gets packed on the weekends and there is usually a wait. Service here was so quick and I went twice in 1 weekend. You stop in and add your name to the list if its packed. Expect to be seated in 30-60 minutes depending on the day. On the weekends, you have to order food vs only drinking. Prices are pretty reasonable for the drinks. My friends and I ordered the chicken gizzards, Korean chicken wings, galbi ribs and and tuna rice balls. I would highly recommend ordering the the gizzards, galbi and rice balls. They were all delicious. Especially the gizzards. Fried and seasoned perfectly. The wings were ok and I don't know if I would make my way out here for them. The location itself is right off the main road. When you enter seating can be really tight. There is K Pop blasting and servers running every where. Restaurant is clean and the servers are attentive. If you want a place that does not have very high noise level then Rainpia is not it. Also, when ordering be mindful of the spice level. Level 3 which is considered a hot already had me sweating. Overall, fun place to grab some drinks and get some snacks. They are open until 2 AM on the weekends.

Ended up coming here because our first option was actually closed. Luckily this place didn't disappoint. Very nice homey feel with elevated booths. Corn cheese was simple but delicious. Bulgogi rice balls had a savory kick with crispy rice. Kimchi and egg fried rice had some spice that gave a little kick. Finally, the fried chicken was super crispy and had a balanced sweet and spicy sauce. Split all four dishes between the three of us and had plenty of leftovers.

Their fried chicken is no longer the same fried chicken I used to crave for. Much to my chagrin, the flavor and the batter changed. The Bosam however, was outstanding! Really tender and delicious! However, it has become a big crowd hangout place so, for me, it's now too noisy for a family dinner.

I came here because of a video I saw on Tik Tok for the best Korean fried wings in the area. I ended up in a strip mall where every business had a sign in both English and Korean. This is always promising because you know the food and area is going to be authentic. Inside is a little tight and you are sat at large wooden benches that have buttons to call your server with. When we went for dinner it was empty but the place filled up rather quickly. The service is super fast thanks to those handy bells. The wings themselves were fantastic. The sauce they came with is SUPER sticky, you could probably do home repairs with it. The size of the wings left a little to be desired but it was plenty to fill me up. I do wish they had a little more kick to them like CM Chicken. In fact at the end of the day I think I prefer CM Chicken's spicy garlic wings over these.

Visited Rainpia again over the weekend and had another great visit!Their kimchi stew is literally one of the best, my favorite for sure! We also ordered the bulgogi rice balls, and my husband had the bulgogi stir fry. Both were good as well. Can't wait to be back!

Went here for a late night dinner. The atmosphere was great, the servers were knowledgeable and attentive, the food was great, and the beer was good!We got the grilled pork hock, Korean style hot wings, kimchi pancake, and the cheese corn. No complaints about anything. The Korean hot wings were level 3 spicy and were so crispy and delicious! The pork hock was level 2 spicy and had so much flavor. I really enjoyed the sauce that came with the kimchi pancake. Also, the fact that they're open until midnight on Sundays is awesome so we can get out for a late date night. Every where In the area closes at 9 or 10, but Rainpia being open late is awesome! We will definitely be coming back

My girlfriend and I was just there on October 20th, 2023. I was told that they had a table ready for me meaning I did not have to wait. Then proceeded to seat another 2 people that came in after we did. Then another worker came back and asked if we have been helped yet? We responded no, then he proceeds to tell us that there is going to be a wait. That was just one issue that we encountered, the whole time we were there our server was very unprofessional and not helpful what so ever. We asked for help several times and were forgotten because the sever was drinking with another table. Which I do not think is professional at all. I felt like just cause we were a table for 2 they definitely did not care about us what so ever. Just because I am a nice person I still left a nice tip. I have been here plenty of times before this was the most unpleasant visit of them all.
