They add a 20% tax to the bill automatically for the tip on take outs. Will not be ordering from them again! Sad, foods not half bad!

Best salmon steak.(I have mine with no honey). My partner’s beef steak was bitter I guess from being burnt though.

Whenever I come into town, my first stop is usually here for crab cakes. I have been coming here ever since it was Jad's. I was a little concerned when they switched ownership and was worried that they would drop crab cakes from their menu, since it has turned into a steak house. But so far they have continued to serve some of the best crab cakes in Essex. It's never crowded whenever I go there, so I hope they are getting enough customers to stay in business!

My. Parents go during the day and they absolutely love it here. They are gone by 3, so not sure about evening staff, but they love everything about the day staff and love their food

Went on Wednesday night and the service was slow. It took well over an hour to get our food. Ordered the fajitas and no seasoning at all. Husband had the shrimp scampi and again no flavor. Food was not good at all. Loud and foul mouth customers at the bar and two tables with children got to hear that crap. Sign at the front stated to sit on bar side. Would have preferred the dining room. Won't be going back.

My husband and I have eaten here a couple times in the past month. Between the two of us we had half and half (cream of crab and Maryland crab), chili, fajitas, shrimp teriyaki, liver and onions and fried chicken - everything was wonderful. Service was excellent, thank you Jackie. We don’t understand all the bad reviews but we highly recommend that you judge for yourself. Treat yourself to a meal, you will not be disappointed! My Husband and I stopped in on a Monday night, just a few people at the bar. No food patrons tho. We were highly satisfied with food and service. Jen was very polite and attentive. Our food was done within 10/15 minutes. The salmon, NY strip and ribs are highly recommended. We support local business, you should too. We will be frequent flyers!!!

This place has changed hands and names numerous times over the recent years, but the food always remained good. We finally made our way to try it now that it's JP Friday evening and was highly disappointed. When we arrived the place was empty other than one other lady..Menu is limited, and the waitress was not able to answer any questions about menu items. The food took way longer than it should have to come out considering the place was empty. While waiting a few more people came in totally 4 tables worth of guests. The waitress was unable to handle it saying " it was so busy and lots of table now" lol the table next to us eventually left after waiting 20 minutes just to get drinks. Now onto the food. The food was terrible. The chili needs a warning it's so spicy, ny niece ordered a porkchop dinner that she needed a chainsaw to cut the meat, my spouse who always cleans a plate took 4 bites of their chicken teriyaki, and couldn't eat it, and my french dip sandwich had a lot to be desired. Bread wasn't toasted all the way, barely any cheese.. the meat was tender and edible but the fried onion they put on had that taste you get when you cook something in a pan that has a burnt bottom. We never got plates for our appetizers or bread, no ketchup for the fries, were never checked on to see if everything was ok or if we needed refills, just brought the check. If we decide to give this place another chance it will be for breakfast, which they only do 3 days a week lol. I do not see this place making it

Went here for karaoke the day before Thanksgiving. Karaoke with Joe is always a blast.

Food was mediocre and so was the service. I may try it one more time before I write it off.

Had an odor, doesn't appear very clean They were out of several items. I miss the old ownership . The place is not filling up anymore, and for obvious reasons. they need to spruce the place up and advertise. Place was pretty much empty and service was still slow.
