We've done the hibachi experience before and the staff at Kabuto do it well. Today, we opted for a faster dine-in option without the show -- (yes, you can choose dining/bar side or the show!). Service was stellar, food came quickly from the sushi chef and kitchen. The food is decent. I'd recommend you keep to the classics: traditional sushi rolls, sashimi, nigiri. And, although the price seems a bit steep for protein and noodles, the hibachi dishes are solid as well.

Food was good, the waiter was trying to keep up with the mad house. The guy waiting on us at the door was obnoxious when we were taken back to the back to where our party was. We had 35 plus people and he came back yelling stack while they washed the table. No one was at the table. Pretty rude but over all great job.

I have always been a good tipper. A tip at a Restaurant is based off the quality of service. If you want a tip, give me good service. I do not reward for bad service. Yesterday I went to Kabuto Japanese Bar and Grill with my GF. I seen multuple issues with my service. Wrong drinks a couple times, reaching across my plate to give my GF her plate. Food was dry and bland. And finally having to damn near yell to get them to bring me my bill. I didn't notice they already added in an 18% tip on top of food that honestly wasn't worth what we paid. I tipped as well. Not a lot because the service was poor. But between their added in tip and my tip, they were way over paid.I did not raise a stink atm because my GF and I were having a good day but as much as this may upset my GF, that will be my last visit there. Good pay comes from doing a good job. I used to hear good things about Kabuto but I find now that you have lost the good rep you had. In this economy people.don't have the money to just blow so when they decide to spend at your restaurant, you should be grateful.
