Found this little gem nestled on the side of the Tempo Bar in Essex, Md.The beef is absolutely delicious ! Fresh roll, Thin cut Smokey flavor piled high. I can make 2 samitches out of one !Piled high Pulled Pork Samitch is the cats pajamas.Love the Turkey too.Plenty of side to choose from. The fries are fantastic and the beans the bomb.They have a fixin table under the big tent so you can dress up your viddles as you like.The Owners are fantastic folks who appreciate your support of their local business.You gotta try the Meatmans Meat. It can't be beat.Peace and Enjoy.

The beef was cooked perfectly at medium, each piece as consistent as the next, no stringiness or chewiness. A nice large bun complimented the flavors of the horseradish and sweet mayo. Holy cow!!! Best damn pit beef I've ever had! No bull! Lol I walked in their pit stand at 4:59 not knowing they were about to close and surprisingly was greeted kindly and served one hell of a meal! I'm a foodie and I have never had a pit beef cooked to perfection, sliced absolutely perfect, and on a super fresh kaiser roll! I feel like I've been eating knock offs up until now and just had the REAL DEAL for the first time today! I normally put ketchup, mustard, and raw onions on a rare pit beef but this sandwich had such a great taste that I only added the raw onions. I wanted to savor the flavor of the beef ? The sandwich came with fries and a can of soda for under $12 and worth the price! I was stuffed with just the sandwich and half my fries bc the sandwich was HUGE! If you haven't had a MeatMan pit beef yet - do yourself a solid and go get one! They're open Fridays Saturdays and Sundays 11am to 5pm on the side of Tempo Lounge on Back River Neck Rd in Essex
