It seems like a neighborhood old head bar with a lot of regulars the food was ok typical bar food the drinks were made with love although they are still on the pricey side for that location but they do offer happy hour Mon- Fri and the atmosphere was relaxed and chill. If you're looking for a place to just come relax drink grab some wings watch the game or play pool without all the regular hassle this place is for you but keep in mind it's a mature crowd.

This place has potential but the current management is running it into the ground! Barbera (manager) has extremely poor custom service skills, how she is responsible for front of the house operations is mind boggling! She is overly disrespectful to patrons and visibly disheveled. I have overheard her speaking to her waitstaff in a manner that would be repulsive at best!I had truly been enjoying the vibe here until Barbara made an appearance. She has made me too uncomfortable to be a returning customer.

I went on a Saturday and had a ball. The guest were more of the party friendly type and I especially loved the age group which is mostly 50 and over. I had a good time.

The restaurant is great! However- the liquor store personnel are the worst! Today, I went to purchase a few bottles of sake, as I have done in the past. When I asked the first guy at the counter where was the sake, he didn't seem to understand my request and shook his head "no". Then I asked the second guy at the counter where was the sake and he said that they didn't have any. I then looked for myself, found the sake on the shelf and held the bottle for them both to see. The second counter person said that "you didn't ask for rice wine" and pointed to the area where the Japanese whiskey was displayed. I replied, "sake is rice wine" and when I took the bottle to the counter, he refused to acknowledge that I was right, and became even more arrogant and disrespectful. He then said that he didn't have time to talk about it, pulled out a cell phone and began talking on the phone. I told him that since he didn't have time to talk, then I didn't have time to buy at this store! I then left the store, but subsequently ran into the owner in the parking lot who recognized me as a frequent customer. When I told him of the incident, he immediately apologized and asked me to return inside and identify the disrespectful employee. When we both entered the store, I identified the rude employee to the owner who promptly lied and told the owner that he was on the phone ordering liquor. I called him out on his lie and added that his disrespect was witnessed by two customers who were there and third employee! He knew he was wrong but apparently felt it was beneath him to apologize This is still another example of a business (new management) moving into a black neighborhood where we spend our money but are disrespected. I AM NOT ONE OF THEM! I have lived in this neighborhood for years and have spent a great deal of money at the restaurant (where I will continue to patronize), but I'LL BE DAMMED IF I ALLOW ANYONE TO DISRESPECT ME WHEN MY MONEY IS JUST AS GREEN AS THEIRS!! THAT ARROGANCE AND DISRESPECT COST THEM TO LOSE A SALE OF AT LEAST $100 TODAY!!! Donald Lee Taylor Fort Waashington, MD
