I got the goat roti and my spouse, the curry chicken special; which for some reason was in a roti as well, even though they asked what sides he wanted. The curry was overpowering and the roti was soggy since it

Food is overpriced, and not tasty. I appreciated them accommodating my late order. But I paid $11 for a chicken soup that did not have 1 piece of chicken in it. Flavor was bland all I tasted was tomatoes and onions. Definitely not my idea of a Caribbean. Being a Jamaican I am use to lots of spices and flavors. This was definitely not what I expected. And $5 for a spinach patty that had more dough that spinach. I could not eat that much flour. At least I gave it a try.

This was our second time here and we did take out. My wife and I ordered the oxtail stew and goat rotti. This was one of the best if not the best oxtail and goat roti I have ever had. And I’ve been to at least 5 other Caribbean restaurants around the DMV including Negril Jamaica. It was soooo good. ?

Today I finally made it down to Fort Washington from Southern Maryland to get some Caribbean food. I ordered curry chicken lunch special. I was so disappointed when I got home to eat my lunch. The server gave me plenty of rice , a spoon of cabbage and one very small piece of chicken and the rest shredded very little. If it was too far to drive back down there I would, with my complaint in person. Not a Happy customer right now!

I ordered the Jerk Chicken Dinner carry out. $18.and some change. Got home heated it up. the chicken was not Jerk! bake! No seasonin just sauce. I was pissed. Bland as hell! The rice n peas were bland as hell and the cabbage was slightly sweet but no spice. Never again will I go back. The prices were high and the food was terrible. I just wish Southern MD could get it right with the Caribbean food?! and my coco bread was dry and crumbly....and anyone knows coco is supposed to be moist!! Save your money and the trip...sad to say ‍

I used to love this place. All of the food used to be so good. I am not sure what happened. I hadn't ordered in a while and I recently ordered the stew chicken. It was not good. The chicken was stewed very well however the flavor was very off...missing that savory brown stew flavor and had an overpowering flavor of maybe all spice... it was not good and I couldn't eat it despite the cost being $16 on doordash. I am thinking this place may have gone through a cook change over tha past couple of years. If anyone is listening from the business, please bring back the old recipe for this dish. In the past I really enjoyed the Roti, jerk chicken, brown stew, and curry. I was really disappointed because I had not had bad food from here in the past. Hopefully it was just a not so great batch.Update: I gave 3 stars because the child said the curry chicken was good and the man said the oxtail tasted good though it wasn't much.

The plated food is not good. The Patties are average. Food is also overpriced and they do not offer sweet plantains as a free side you have to pay an upgraded price for it

I’m sad to say that this restaurant did not provide the quality of food for the price. I paid over $37 for a red snapper meal. I was promised that this fish was prepared caribbean style, but the fish still had a fishy smell. Caribbean style means the fish was properly cleaned. The meal was mediocre at best….had high hopes for a better Caribbean option in the area, but they fall short. Will continue to drive miles for better food options verses overpaying for just okay. Not trying to be harsh with this post, but my standards are as high as the price I chose to pay for my meal. Honestly had better food for less money.

NOT GOOD, and extremely overpriced. Ordered 2 patties, one j*** chicken and 1 beef. They both were tasteless. Also got curry chicken and Roti, along with a j*** Tilapia sandwich. The chicken was so dry, It shouldn't have been served. The fish was "mid" at best. For a total of I believe $50 something......... Just not good!!!! We moved into the area like 2 years ago and always past by.... Then said how we had to visit!! HUGE LET DOWN. I love Caribbean food and she's Bahamian and Trinidadian. WE KNOW GOOD CARIBBEAN FOOD.? This AIN'T IT. Sadly and woefully disappointed.
