Breakfast is really great. A good country style, home-cooked, hearty meal. It's one of my favorite top picks for breakfast. I get the pancake platter. Talk about BUTTERMILK pancakes. Perfecto! ? scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries, an extra side of chipped beef on toast, and a sweet tea mix lemonade.

Visited for the first time and was not impressed. I was greeted immediately and my to go order was taken. While waiting I decided to watch the kitchen. So - one of the cooks picked up a handful of raw bacon for the deep fryer and used the same hand to cook, touch the toast, while eating pieces of bacon that fell off the sandwich she made. I hope no one gets sick from cross contamination. The place could use a deep cleaning. They cook with no urgency. Too expensive and unclean.

So this is not the place for a good breakfast sandwich at all! I ordered a turkey, egg on rye got stale bread, burnt bacon and greasy onions there was no egg at least I don't see one or 2Just horrible and a waste of money here! Why would you ever as a restaurant or an owner or Cook serve someone something that looks like this ...this is trash!

I visited this restaurant this morning. I had a scrapple breakfast and a Pepsi. The food was just ok, they fried the life out of my scrapple and completely messed up my eggs and the home fries weren't the best. Grant total, $19.00 and change. I went to my car and realized I was charged twice for my drink. The waitress was very nice, therefore, I asked for a cup of coffee to make it right.I dined at the former location several times and the food was very good. I'm not sure of what happened but I can't, in good conscious go back there. To the management, please you all have to do better. I felt robbed. The breakfast I ordered says $8.95 on the menu but my check read $11.99. Over $20.00 for a basic breakfast? Come on.I hope things improve because I love supporting Black Businesses. Again, I felt robbed.

Would have posted sooner but the food had me on the toilet for the last 4hrs!This place is nothing like it use to be!My Scrambled Eggs were soggy, my grits tasted like mush, and the service was horrific. The only thing I enjoyed was the juice. ??♂️The poor guy behind me ordered his food 3x with 2 different servers. When I left he still hadn’t received his mealServers were on their phones & So inattentive that 2 people walked out.There were 7-8 people on staff, and only 3-4 were actually working. (The Cooks)So disappointing & dissatisfied ??

I give them 0 stars because one we waited a long time waiting 2 , the service sucks 3 the food was TRASH!!!!! Bacon was dry grits wasn’t even grits eggs was nasty blt ? was very dry no mayo food was very bad I advise nobody to go there. In fort Washington!!

My daughter treated me to breakfast today and ordered me the famous Steak in a sack and it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! It was cooked perfectly and was so filling that I couldn't eat it all. I enjoyed this meal and I definitely intend on going back again.
