Every time I visit Bakehouse I have this thought: That was one of the best things I ever put in my mouth! A must stop for locals, and well worth the drive for non-locals. Get there early because they will sell out.

While there were not much left when we got here around 10 on a Saturday, ery thing we got was absolutely amazing. Our favorites were the mini blackberry and cream cheese croissants but also enjoyed the morning bun. Customer service was excellent and while we waited in line and despite the limited choices, it was well worth it and we will definitely be back.

This is by far one of the best bakeries I've been too everything was fresh and very tasty.I Drove all from Hagerstown in the rain to try this place and it was well worth it..You do have to get there early before they sell out..The customer service was the best I have seen for a small business I highly recommend going here and check out their rotating menu because they have monthly specials and seasonal treats..This is a Must Try!!!

My mother and I came to middle of Maryland for a baby’s birthday party and we found this bake shop. I cannot say enough great things about this place!!!!! The staff were extremely friendly and the food was out of this world the best baked goods I have ever had! Wish you had a location in Philly!

I was visiting Frederick and knew I had to stop by and check out this bakery before I left. I got there around 10 a.m, and they were sold out with most of their items and I understood why. The pastry that I was able to get my hands on was amazing! So delicious! I recommend the brownie with peanut butter fluff and ganache! I will definitely stop by every time I'm in Frederick again.

I believe we have tried much of what is on The Bakehouse menu and without exception the food is extraordinary. If you encounter a line waiting to get in don’t be deterred as it is absolutely worth what’s generally a short wait. Upon entering you breath in a wonderful aroma that makes one realize you are in the presence of a true working bakery which is going to reward your palette and patience. The staff is terrific, always helpful, engaging and efficient. I strongly recommend the Bakehouse for croissant, cookie, and croque monsieur or anything on the menu as it’s all great.
I love this place the best pastry in town. Dan, Marty and Julia are awesome. They all very kind and genuine people. When I see them, they always make me smile and make me feel so welcome. My husband loves almond croissants he said that one of the best he ever had. Menu changes every months and there’s always something special for every months and seasons. Little wait but totally worth it. I’m so glad Bakehouse is here in Frederick because it is my happiest place. I love you guys
These guys are the best. The croissants and pastries are out of this world. Huge portions for surprisingly affordable prices and the absolute best quality. Fluffy, yummy, buttery, delish. 100% worth the wait in the long line. I usually arrive early to get my pick of options, but today I arrived late (10:15 on a Thursday) and while there wasn’t much left, they hooked me up with a bunch of “imperfect” options on the house. While I enjoyed my coffee, I listened to them greet a bunch of customers by name and they even remembered peoples’ regular orders and threw in some more imperfect options on the house to make up for the slim selection. Great people, great food.

The best baked goods for at least an hour in any direction... We enjoyed a tiramisu cruffin, jalapeno popper mini croissants, a cinnamon sugar roll, a morning bun, cardamom coffee cake, a cream cheese danish, almond croissant, and more. Everything was one of a kind. Get there early if you want to skip the line, but even if you do wait in line it is more than worth it!

Aside from the fact that all our pastries were beautiful, fresh and completely delicious, the service was warm and welcoming. We ordered 1-2 of almost every item, and nothing disappointed. The staff took great care of us, and the bakery was clean and tidy. Would absolutely recommend !
