most of the time this place is great, but theres one employee who basically goes out of her way to give you scoops that are like 50% the size that any other employee would give. she wears glasses and is like hispanic or something idk if shes serving then just go to a diff ice cream place

The Urbana Baskin Robbins location is always closed WAY before the hours posted. It is run by children that have no people skills. How is this location still open with such poor service? It would be nice to get a quality BR/DD nearby. Even the managers lack any resemblance of professionalism. Counting the months until this place shuts down.

Hard to imagine an ice cream place closing at 8 pm in the summer, isn't it? Even harder to believe that this place shuts down it's ice cream side (half is Dunkin') at least 10 minutes early. I know the kids that work here want to get home early, but if the hours are until 8 pm, I should be able to get ice cream at 7:50. Oh, the service is never friendly here no matter what time of day or twilight ('cause they're not open at night).

Usually visits here are very pleasant. However, I think the young lady with the dyed green hair is not having a good day. Very poor customer service, and lack of attention to detail. :-(
I ordered a birthday ice cream cake online on February 8 and scheduled pick up for 12:00 p.m., February 15. When I arrived around 4:30 p.m. to pick it up, I was advised they did not have my order ready. No explanation, just that it wasn't made. I was going to check my order confirmation to make certain that I picked the right location but the clerk told me he didn't need to see my receipt. After I got home, I discovered that I had paid for it online. I called the store to request a refund and was advised that I had to go back to the store to get my refund. Terrible service. I will never visit this location again!

Staff was pretty busy talking to each other, didn't really have time for us. Flavors in cases we're mismarked or not marked at all.

Get out! We are closed! Wait--didn't you just sell me this ice cream four minutes ago? With no mention that I would have five short minutes to eat it? Since there's no patio dining (and I'm not going to sit in the car with this) I let the staffers know that we were not leaving. Folks walked in at 8:59 and were not just turned away, but SHOUTED AT TO LEAVE. Customer service? Not when I'm watching the clock. So, if not for the 9:00 curfew (yelp and google both say 10:00) a passable experience. The usual chain fare: stale donuts, hours-old coffee, and ice cream with frost. A good late-night-date treat (as long as your idea of late-night is plenty of time to get back to Shady Pines Retirement Home before lockdown).
