My wife and I will always enjoy Cameron's seafood, but this location has become blahhhhh!!! The older man at the counter this evening gave me horrible service. And we didn't just buy a few things we spent money for our family gathering! I dont know if the location has changed hands but in the past, people would greet you as you came in and asked if they could help you, this guy looked me dead in my face and when i said i was there to pick up my order turned his back to me. My wife asked me to pick a few more things while there (spending more money) and when i asked for his assistance he acted like i was bothering him and he didn't want to make the sale. Cameron's corporate office really needs to get this location and its owner back to the basics. Looking all downhill from here at this pace with this type of customer service. Oh, and he did help me, but damn if he didn't want to. Get better!!UPDATE: Stay away from the "Cream of Crab" Soup, gave my wife and I food poisoning one hour after eating. Seriously, get your stuff together or sell to a better owner!!!

Wife and I came to Ferderick to celebrate our 50th anniversary, about 2 weeks ago. When we decided to stopped in Cameron's and get some theirjumbo cakes and cream of crab soup to take back to Cleveland. It was awesome!!! The service was excellent and we'll definitely be back!!

Today I purchased one dozen #1 male crabs from Cameron’s Seafood in Frederick, MD. Since I am staying in a nearby hotel, I had them cook the crabs while I waited. After getting the bag of steaming crabs I was so excited to drive back to the hotel and dive in. Unfortunately, when I pulled the first crab and started opening it up to eat the meat was mushy and the flavor was bad. The crab was clearly WAY overcooked which is unfortunate because it had density and size. After that first crab there was no way I was going to start opening others because then I have no grounds to ask for a return on my invested funds. I called the store to inform them of what I experienced, and the owner argued a moment and then said to bring the crabs back and he will give me my money back. That was followed by a sharp disconnect via him hanging up the phone. Great, I was going to let things end there but when I bring the crabs in, the owner proceeded to open another crab and give me a lecture on how to eat crabs, he’s been in business 27 years and he gives a good product, blah, blah, blah. SIR, I was born and raised in Maryland, so I’ve been eating crabs since I was 2! When I purchase food and you cook the food, I expect to be able to eat 100% of the food I purchased. Not 50%, not 60%, I expect to be able to eat 100% of what I purchase from your establishment. If you can’t provide a quality product, then ONLY sell the seafood live. I wouldn’t even be writing this review if you had not been so antagonistic and insulting. You are a business owner so act appropriately and produce the quality product you claim to provide.
