Best hoagies in Frederick. Just wish they were open later and had parking. There's no where to park without paying for pick up orders

Downtown classic deli.

Simple, charming deli with a welcoming staff and great sandwiches. Very reasonably priced and delicious. We had a shrimp salad sub and a pastrami sandwich. Both great but we will be back to try the other options.

Cute little spot in downtown Frederick Maryland. Being from NYC, I wouldn't necessarily think of it as a New York style deli, but it is a GREAT deli, with its own personality, and signature sandwiches that are off the chain. My two favorites are the Mancuso and the No Name Chicken Salad. Quality is top-notch and always consistently good. Really nice folks who remember you and treat you like family. 5 stars.

Crabapples used to be my go to place for a great sandwich and today I brought a friend for lunch. I was amazed by the awful customer service. When my friend asked about whether there was milk in any of the bread that they use, the server briefly said that she was pretty sure it was in all of them. I asked if she'd mind checking the ingredients (since otherwise we couldn't buy a sandwich) and she snappily asked us to step aside so that she could serve other people! I don't think it's unreasonable to ask about allergens in a sandwich shop! Allergens can be life threatening and certainly should be available on request! An unpleasant experience. I will not be visiting Crabapples again, which is a great pity.

Went for breakfast since the Perfect Blend had a line out the door. This place has been there for ever and is just across the street from The Frederick Hotel. Not too fancy inside. Ordered sausage egg and cheese on a bagel. Would get it again. Lunch sandwiches looked good. My girlfriend got an iced coffee and it was good. Everything came out fast but then again there was only 6 people eating inside. There are better places in town but can't beat the price for convenience/quality.

This is a perfect lunch spot. It’s right across from the courthouse, so most of the business comes from there. It’s right downtown so very walkable. It’s a father/daughter combo manning this small old time feel deli. It’s the type of deli you would see in a big city like New York. The daughter typically rings up the orders and the dad is cranking them out. They are QUICK. You can call ahead and place your order if you’re in a rush. But even if you show up and there’s a line, they are quick and efficient. I’ve never waited more than five minutes for my food. There are several tables to sit at. They have full coolers of ice cold drinks such as soda. A big selection of chips as well. They have home made fresh potato, chicken and shrimp salad. They use Boars Head meats which in my opinion are premium and exceptional products. They have a bunch of speciality sandwiches to choose from, or you can “build your own”.

I was hoping to find THE hot pastrami sandwich that would compare favorably to ones from NJ and NY. The build your own sandwich option was how I ordered. The rye bread was barely average. The included pickle was not anything special, far from a deli pickle. The pastrami was hot but had no evidence of being placed on a griddle. The prices seemed a bit high for the quality but the portion size was appropriate. Not a bad place to eat if you are in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there. They certainly have plenty of menu options though. The atmosphere inside was fun with a few tables by large windows that had a nice view of downtown Frederick.
