My daughter and I had spent an afternoon in Frederick and wanted to try this place because I had heard of it before, so it was our first time being here and it was a very early dinner for us. I didn't realize how expensive dinner was the plate I was looking to order was $40 and I just couldn't justify that on that day because I had already spent so much money. The receptionist tried to make me go upstairs and then try to make me sit in some high chairs after I told her that I had a bad knee, so that was kind of annoying. But our waiter was a delight, and super friendly. While we were waiting for our dinner which was a salad and an order of poutine, a nice young man brought us over a sample of some soup. That soup was delicious! In fact everything we had was delicious including the French onion soup that I ordered. I had never had a french onion soup like that it was probably the best ever! We would definitely be back for lunch and a butterscotch creme brulee that I didn't get to order because I was stuffed and we had to run.

I wanted to try it because my husband had tried it once before and enjoyed the food and drinks. The spicy Margherita was good , had a nice bite to it. The steak salad was good, steak was cooked perfect, nice portion. We also ordered a burger which came out raw, unedible . Onion rings were doughy and undercooked . Service was mediocre.

We are here on a Saturday for lunch, and the food was delicious. The server was helpful with questions about the menu, and was courteous and prompt. The atmosphere was good with no TVs going even at the bar. Glad we made the choice to eat here!!

Decided to try out Firestone's Culinary Tavern for brunch. We have eaten dinner here before but this was the first time we have attended brunch.Making a reservation was easy. Using Resy we were able to book the 2 person reservation for 2 pm (they were booked until then) and had no issues beig seated when we arrived. Glad to see that restaurants are starting to fill up again. The restaurant is on two levels. A bar with some restaurant seating on the entry level and an upstairs balcony that had most of the restaurant seating. I love the neon sign on the left at the bar when you walk in - Good Food, Strong Drinks! Quite appropriate. Our waitress was Courtney and she was attentive and helpful in making suggestions, etc. I opted for coffee and Eggs Benedict (with extra Hollandaise sauce) with an additional fruit bowl side. We also had the Espresso Martini and Coop's Gumbo. The Eggs Benedict was very good and my wife enjoyed the Gumbo. She mentioned it has "a kick to it" (as it should!) and was made with homemade sausage and shrimp over jasmine rice. I really wanted to Strawberry Shortcake, but I was full. Overall a decent meal. Plenty of options for drinks ranging from cocktails, wine and beers.Enjoyed the food, loved the service and a nice atmosphere. Stop by and try it for yourself.Dietary restrictions: Staff was willing to accomodate choices, etc. I would definitely check menu which changes often to locally source, etc.Parking: There is a paid parking lot across the street. Called Church Street Garage. We walked around to shop and then had lunch. Several hours and cost me $1

My partner and I went in for an early dinner at 4:30, the atmosphere was wonderful and inviting. We were seated upstairs which was quaint and beautifully decorated. Our server immediately came over after we were seated, he was attentive and just an absolute joy. We ordered a starter and our entree’s after he brought us our beverages. We were surprised by a wonderful taste of mushroom bisque as well as an incredible taste of fruit sorbet. When our entree’s arrived the presentation was outstanding as well as the taste. We will definitely be visiting again.

Extremely loud environment, the food is fair at best, and it is extremely overpriced. I was there with a party of 6. We tried four appetizers and we each had an entree. We ordered a bottle of wine and a couple of drinks. Our bill with tip was $450. The only good thing was that our waitress was very attentive and had an outstanding personality.

The food here is excellent and the service prompt and friendly. The one complain is the noise level on the second floor. When the bar is full the noise is deafening. It ruins the dining experience.

Solid service and overall great food. The pastrami sandwich was awesome. Scallops enjoyed by the whole table. Slight knock on atmosphere because they have double doors but prop the outside door open when it's cold out so freezing air blows in every time someone comes in or out.

Even on a snow day this place was bustling with energy and there was no shortage of people. The service was great and the waiters came by often. The steak quality was superb and honestly the best way to describe this restaurant would be a solid, significantly above average fine dining experience for an affordable price. The bar looked interesting and popping as well.

Ehh just okay. Not the best steak I've tasted. The chicken in the kids meal however was good!
