I've only been to JoJo's for their late moght offerings, but it is unmatched for that in the Frederick area. In particular, their chicken tenders, fried pickles, and truffle freas never disappoint. They have an often changing and always satisfying taplist of local craft brews. I come here about once a week.

All I can say is gluten free fried pickles, fried chicken and lots of ciders!! Their other food is great too (according to my friends) but if you have to eat gluten free this is your happy place!

I met a friend for brunch on a Sunday. The menu had a lot of variety, and the waiter suggested the Fried Pickles, which were really great and the best item I ordered. The waiter brought out some donut holes, and explained that they were gluten-free. They were incredibly dry, which he chalked up to being gluten-free. I'm not a GF expert, but to me they seemed excessively dry and tasted like they had been sitting out for quite awhile. For my main meal, I ordered the chicken and waffles, and again, the chicken was incredibly dry and overcooked. The waffles were quite nice though.
Food was good, service was alright. Was served sangria when ordered just plain white wine. Ordered dessert but server came back because they forgot the kitchen closed immediately after our food order was complete. Reservation time slot was 8:30 but kitchen closed after 8:45. The 8:30 time slot should've just been removed.
I would 1st like to say we have dined at JoJos several times and never experienced anything like we experienced on 2/14/24. Our waitress started off attentive, checking on us as we order our appetizers she was still attentive maybe a little bit more than I would expect as I felt she hovered around our area wanting to get our entree in not sure what the hurry was. After Our salads were delivered she seem to be ghost. We witness two couples arrive way after us but their food came prior to ours. I stepped away from the table to take a call outside when my husband inquired about our meal and was told by our waitress because we order an appetizer, salad and entree they wait a while to deliver our food, never ever heard that excuse and we are a family that dines out regularly at very upscale restaurants in the DMV area and elsewhere. Our waitress seem to be more unapologetic and and not interested in providing great service to us. I believe there was a tall gentleman dressed in a collard shirt and tie who I think was a mgr but never came over to address our concerns maybe because he didn't care nor concerned for our dining experience. I have shared this restaurant with others to try but no more. I know they don't care about my experience so why would I patronize a restaurant like that. See you later JoJo Kimberly Scott
We stopped here on a whim after Liberty Mt. and we loved it. The hostesses were friendly. Our server Melissa was nice and knowledgeable about GF menu options. We were impressed with the variety of GF options and that they serve GF donuts during brunch. The avocado appetizer was delicious. Husband said the chicken sandwich on GF roll was great. We will definitely be back.

We go regularly and have been a bit disappointed the last few times there with the quality of the food and menu. Last night the ahi tuna was way overcooked and the chicken empanadas was under seasoned and dull. Servers are always great and attentive but we likely will stay away for a bit.

Appetizers were quiet good, biggest issue was the skirt steak was well overcooked, Med Rare came out Med Well, but being in a party with my wife and a friend she hadn't seen in years couldn't ruin the time by sending it back so just had to pick around it. Beers are still great, but probably wouldn't come back again.
