Pretty cool spot. Surprised it’s not more popular. Great spot to kick it and watch any games/races.Was able to watch the Ravens give a beating on their big screens. It’s a 4x4 of 52” I think. So 16 monitors in total.Ordered a cheesesteak and wings. Bucket of beer.$54~Cheesesteak was good. No lettuce options or anything. But the cheesesteak was tasty enough that it gets a 7.5 or 8/10. Fries were fries. Nothing to write home about. 7/10.Wings were good size. Breaded though for a dry rub was a bit surprising. 7/10, juicy and size saved the rating.Bartenders were nice.Didn’t use the betting machines. Can’t give feedback on them.

It can be a nice place for drinks if you sit at the bar. It has TVs galore! Sports and horse racing.

Went to check out BetFred on a Sunday and decided to get something to eat at Long Shot. I ordered a Diet Coke but the fountain mix was not working. For lunch I got the fried buffalo chicken with old bay fries which was great! Plenty of room to watch any game that is playing and friendly staff. For now it’s a nice hidden gem but sure it will get busy as the NFL season moves on.

Not a fan. Asked if they could break a $5 bill so I could use the vending machine and was ignored. They want you to order from the menu I guess. Then why have a vending machine?

I've never been to a place like this before, but im glad i went. The food is reasonably priced it tastes like my grandmother made it, and the atmosphere was amazing. The servers were so sweet.

It started off fine, in fact we were enjoying it so we extended our stay several times. However, we were called by “T” at 7:50am and told we needed to get out of our room bc they were having an event. Mind you, we just moved across country and had a ton of belongings. When I tried to explain that Larry, the GM was at the front desk the night before and secured this room for us and told us we didn’t have to move upon extending our stay. She told me that the GM couldn’t do anything about it bc he is not in sales and if me and my son were not out at 11 she was calling the Sherrif on us ? Absolutely the worst customer service. “T” should NOT be working in hospitality whatsoever. After this experience I will never be back and I’ll be sure to spread the word around torn about this place!

Parts are under renovation and quite messy, very poor wifi, leaky faucets, most outside doors inoperable from the outside with key card, inoperable windows for air. Breakfast was very good. Location was fine for our purposes, mall across driveway.

If you go there make sure you double check all your tickets from the tellers. I went the Friday before the Preakness to play the Preakness. Got my tickets, they Monday went back to cash my $84.00 winnings to find out when I got my tickets the teller put the wrong race number on them. I kinda know I should check my tickets but I have been betting on races for over 40 yrs and you just tell the teller you want to bet on the Preakness and they know the race number. Apparently this guy was new from what the Monday teller told and realized he had done it a few times before he caught his mistake. I also asked about the food from a few patrons and most said they were overpriced and the food wasn't that great.

Friendly Staff. Excellent breakfast for this hotel class and price. Eggs tasted real and bacon was good. Cereal options, muffins and bagels. Located right behind a mall with a large lawn for walking the dog. This is a great pet friendly option. The king bed was comfortable. Shower had good water pressure and was clean enough I took a bath. Coffee pod coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge. Pet fee was $25 I'm not sure if this is per stay or per night. The place is under construction so it can be a bit of a walk to the lobby. It's possible to park very near to your room though.

This hotel was the worst. We checked in at 1pm and the air conditioning was not working. Maintenance was called. they claimed it was fine. we moved rooms. it was still not working. We had to go to home depot and buy fans. We were there for an event otherwise we would have left. We had to sleep with the windows open. bugs then came into the room. they claim it is because of the renovations. we were not the only ones complaining. We had dogs with us they had to sleep in the since it was cooler outside than in the rooms. More than one person at our event complained to management/front desk about the ac not working. They did nothing. We have stayed at this hotel every year and it is not the best hotel around but it at least had ac in past. They appear to not be doing maintenance since they are "building a new" hotel. haha they have been saying that for 3 years.

Visited in January for 1 night stay since my husband I were seeing a speaker at the Weinberg Center. We were bummed the indoor pool is currently closed for construction, so we needed something else to do. Hellooo Long Shot's. Our bartender ladies were friendly, attentive, and genuine. Live betting across the hall, and horses/races galore on the many TVs around the room. Bar food served, but none the less tasty, bar foods. Fun atmosphere especially for horse enthusiasts, betting or not. Staff is really good, plenty of physical space, decent foods, and an eclectic group of individuals gathered to enjoy the beautiful horses. We had a blast.

Tanya and Renee are the best bartenders ever! They remember your name and your preferences! If you are not a Karen you will love this place!
