Great food, great service!! The appetizers were delicious, and the happy hour margarita was very good too.

This is a pleasant restaurant with great perusian food selections and comforting atmosphere. The staff are friendly and professional! Though the serving portions are full yet the prices are expensive!! We ordered the Empanadas tasting, Octopus Ceviche and the Steak Kabob with my choice of Yuca Fries & Chaufa Rice. Our three drinks were a glasses of sangria, a lemonade and a water! If only the pricing was less, I'd visit more often.

The food here was sooo good! It was the most authentic Peruvian food we’ve ever had. Well seasoned and the service was on point too. We had the whole red snapper, the lomo saltado and the purple corn sangria. We also got kids meals which were the perfect portion for our little ones. We will definitely be back!Kid-friendliness: Great options for the kids and we were so relieved to see it wasn’t just mac-n-cheese and pizza for them to choose from. Our kids loved the food and the dipping sauces.

Maytag's Peruvian Cuisine is a great Peruvian restaurant off of I-270 in Frederick, MD. As you walk in, you are greeted with lively music, colorful decor and an airy atmosphere. The staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome. Their menu has a wide array of appetizers, entrees and sandwiches. They also have a full bar and a large selection of beers, some of which are the restaurant's brand. I chose the pulled chicken sandwich, which was delicious! The sauce had just the right balance of sweet and spicy. You will not leave this restaurant hungry because the portions are enormous. Definitely check out Mayta's if you're in the area. You won't be disappointed!

I drove from Washington, DC on a Saturday night to check out salsa dancing. There was much going on with the salsa dancing so I decided to have a bite to eat. I ordered the chicken breast over yucca topped with coleslaw. The chicken breast was battered, fried and coated with a red sauce. I didn’t care much for the sauce but the chicken was excellent. Moist and crunchy, the yucca was fried golden brown, crunchy and fluffy inside, best yucca I have ever had. The sauce over powdered the coleslaw so I could not taste it. It was $16 it’s a bit much for one person and somewhat unhealthy so it’s best to share this meal.

I don’t usually leave reviews especially bad ones but this place has been on my mind since my mom and i ate here about a month ago we got the rotisserie chicken and aji de gallina and both were terrible the aji de gallina tasted like it was sitting in the back of the fridge for days and they had pulled it out just to get rid of it and the rotisserie chicken was simply flavorless like boiled chicken and old rice was very disappointed with the food.I will mention that the waitress was super nice and made it better.
