I cannot say enough good things about Alisha and Renaissance Chef Catering Company. They helped us pull together an amazing farewell party for the CEO of our Foundation. With only 2 1/2 weeks' time to plan, Alisha was incredibly patient with my many questions and requests. She was always accessible and returned my emails quickly. The food was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. We had 175 guests and many of them complimented the food and wanted to know who the caterer was. The staff that worked the event were punctual, friendly, helpful, and incredibly professional, going above and beyond. They even cleaned the rug when a few berries were dropped and left a stain. Thank you, Alisha, and Renaissance Chef Catering for helping us pull together a memorable event for someone we care deeply about. We look forward to working with you again in the future!

Renaissance Chef was amazing to work with. They were one of the exclusive caterers for our wedding venue (Mountain Memories at Thorpewood). We requested half of our menu be Filipino dishes which weren't listed on their normal menu. This included being open to work with another vendor on getting a full-sized suckling pig. The chef was happy to take on the challenge of incorporating our culture and the dishes turned out great! We also chose to do a bar package, the bartenders did a great job with our requested drink menu. We also had an issue with a guest drinking excessively. They acted very professionally with grace and kindness. Every single one of their bartenders and servers were very nice and sweet. We couldn't ask for a better caterer to work with.

The staff was terrific, and there were enough people to thoroughly care for our guests. Plated dinner was served hot which is remarkable considering the VERY limited catering facilities at the venue. Will definitely hire them again!

Many of them went out of their way to check in on us—making sure we got dinner and had everything we needed to deliver the night’s entertainment. WOW. Renaissance Chef did an AMAZING job with my wedding in Frederick. They created an all-vegan meal for me and my wife, complete with appetizers and entrees, despite the fact that vegan catering is not their specialty. They worked so hard to bring us the best possible event experience we could have hoped for and handled everything we asked of them and more. Our venue was small but they arrived early and after a quick discussion we determined that some minor reorganization was necessary to maximize space, I had to leave for a short time and when I returned they had everything laid out and prepared. They insisted that I not help, despite me offering repeatedly, so I could focus on other details of the day. The food was delicious and the (non-vegan) guests loved it, too! They even used extra flower arrangements to decorate the cake and confections which we brought in from a separate bakery. They were kind, generous, humorous, and professional, even up until the very last moments in the venue during which they helped us clean up. These guys went above and beyond our expectations. The day was perfect, and only because they were perfect. 1000/10 would recommend.
