I've been here twice and both times it was pretty empty. But the service and friendly and mostly prompt except for the fried chicken bowl, which took a little longer to cook. The food is good and definitely unique (it's truly Asian fushion). And it's a good price for sushi in the area. Both times they also have me a complimentary sample of a unique dish they were promoting.

I am not pleased. I ordered to go and most of the rolls were falling apart. But, that’s not the worst of it. I ordered some of the toro items, excited a establishment was serving it. All of the toro items were subbed with maguro with out telling me and I charged the same amount. That’s straight up unethical. Lastly the rice was under seasoned. This isn’t a great sushi establishment.

The special Sweetheart roll was delicious, especially the honey wasabi sauce. The complimentary miso soup and appetizer were also very nice.

Atmosphere was quite pleasant. Server was very tentative. The menu was quite nice with a lot of different options. Food was very well plated, and presented very nice. The miso soup that came with the meal was very good. Seen in pervious reviews that this was an all you can eat establishment. Seen the conveyer belt in the restaurant however nothing on the menu to state that there was an all you can eat option. One of the main reasons I stopped for the visit at this location. Overall a semi decent dining experience. Given the decent service, quaint atmosphere, and presentation of the food I would give this restaurant a second chance especially if they had the all you could eat service reinstated.

Beyond awful.Dining room messy. Like papers, a patio umbrella, bags, laying around. Literally looked like they gave up. Makes u wonder how clean the kitchen is.Woman screaming in kitchen so loud at another woman u could easily heard in dining room.. not just loud... screaming and angry.Very small child screaming (reverb'd thru whole restaurant) from kitchen area while being yelled at.Menu seemed promising. Not elaborate, but basic w some special rolls.Ordered specialty roll and it was lukewarm, although just prepped. Warm uncooked fish not okay.. Fish was tasteless due to overload of sauces masking any fish or veg flavors.Goyza came out hot but def frozen/commercial, not homemeade.Server was nice & attentive but clearly waiting for someone to ask what on earth was going on in kitchen.Over all the screaming & chaos, the sushi chefs never even lifted their heads so clearly they r used to this.I truly cannot emphasis how loud it was.Cost was $25 for water, 1 roll and gyoza, so def cheap... but not worth it.

Today I bought the Beef Tonkotsu Ramen, and as I was eating it I bit into something hard. There was a piece of black plastic in my ramen! It’s pretty large and looks like it was sliced off of something! I called to report this and they didn’t care at ALL. They asked if I wanted another bowl and I refused, and told them they needed to check into their quality control. “Oh, okay, thanks for your suggestion, I’ll look into that.” Is the answer I got. They did not apologize. They did not ask for pictures or offer a refund. Nothing.This place use to be decent, but this was a complete let down and I will not be back, and will also warn my friends/family about this so they can avoid this restaurant as well.

I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!! Worst sushi ever!!!! We ordered for pick up and when we opened the tray we found a hair in it. I called the restaurant to let them know and the lady Angelina who answered started acting like she didn’t understand what I was talking about. After explaining the simple thing that I found a disgusting hair in my food she started saying that maybe it wasn’t a hair, that was something else, when clearly I know what I saw. The bottom line is that they did no even apologize. I tried to ask for refund but they asked to bring the food back and honestly I just throw everything in the trash. Worst money spent ever!!!!
Fine for Frederick. A competitor downtown is better for sushi.

Frederick isn't really the place with plentiful sushi options. So when we found SushiDensha, it was a blessing. It's not the best sushi ever, but definitely the best we've had in Frederick.The fish is usually pretty fresh and has been fairly consistent. We typically they the special rolls, seaweed salad and grilled squid.They do a great job with presentation, I will give them that.Service is overall good. The servers are attentive and quick.Prices are standard.Parking is easy - plenty of lot parking.

My buddy and I visited SushiDensha for lunch and it was just as good as always. Before being seated, our temperature was taken and then we were seated. As we waited for our drinks, we were given complimentary soup and a fried crab roll. The fried crab roll was so good that I ordered another with my meal. For my main course, I got the tiger roll and rock n roll. Both were phenomenal and I even brought some home. Great food, great service and affordable prices. Defiantly come to SushiDensa if you're looking for good sushi in Frederick.
