What a great meal with fantastic service at The Tasting Room in Frederick Maryland. We were gifted a very generous gift card to this restaurant. We had eaten here in the past, but had the opportunity to head back here. We used OpenTable and booked our reservation several weeks in advance. Mostly because of our schedule, but we’re excited to go back. Our server was Jessica and she was probably one of the best servers we have had in the past two years. Extremely knowledgeable about the wines, and very strong on the menu selections. Professional and attentive. If I could give her six stars, I would. For dinner we started with a Black Martini and a Lily Pad. Jessica explained the drink to us so we went with it and was not disappointed. With dinner we had a bottle of Inglenook Zinfandel. Delicious. For food we started with the Panko Shrimp and the charcuterie board. The cheese selection was very good and the elk sausage was tasty. For main courses we all had the filet. Great presentation with oval trivets and cast iron plates with each filet. Tender and cooked to perfection with a side of béarnaise sauce which was some of the best I have ever had. So so good! You also received as a side dish potatoes au gratin. Very good! We also ordered a side of Brussels sprouts for the table. For desserts Jessica recommended the “warm chocolate toffee Bundt cake”. It was so delicious. Could have eaten two! We also had the “lemon meringue parfait”. Light and tasty. We rounded out the meal with Peruvian Dark Roast Coffee. Outstanding. The restaurant is cozy and well decorated. Take the opportunity and look up at the beautiful ceilings that permeate throughout the restaurant. In addition, if you are seated next to a window look across the street at the “Angel” painting. So interesting.Overall, the meal and service were just outstanding. Yeah it is on the expensive side (but we had drinks, apps and dessert) but I will go back. It really was perfection and worth every penny.Parking: Parking is available across the street in a paid large parking garage. Several garages around.Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is on first floor so no steps but aisles are tight between tables.

I would definitely award a 5 for this great restaurant in Frederick. The one issue I bring to the table is the charge I received on my bill for blue cheese olives in my Martini. Paying over $40 for an entree with the filet mignon at $60, just increase the price of the Martini to account for olives. Staff and service is great and the food is phenomenal.

The food was delicious and the salads were the perfect lunch size. The Tasting Room is ideal for business meals, outings with family and friends and romantic dinners. Parking in the Church Street Garage is inexpensive and convenient .

My 3rd time eating here and it never disappoints. Menu is not to extensive where you can't decide on a dish. They do cater to meat lovers, seafood eaters, as well as vegetarians. Everything on the menu is very flavorful and tasty. Highly recommend!

One of the best restaurants in Downtown Frederick. Excellent customer service and the food was incredible. The only downside is sitting so close to other diners, you really can't have a private conversation. But that's a small sacrifice for the overall appeal of this restaurant.

Had dinner on a Saturday night. The food was amazing as always. Our server Vinny could have been more attentive. I do feel the price of the food and drink increased considerably since I was there last. Overall a nice evening out.

My BF and I stopped by for a drink, and we were able to quickly get a spot at the bar. My BF had the Smoked Sage (so good!) and I had a dirty gin martini. The bartender was quick and efficient.

awesome experience - the bartenders were awesome when we went to the bar before our reservation, including making a "surprise" drink versus what's was on the menu. We were there for Fillet Night which was an awesome reminder of how tasty the Tasting Room's filet is

This is an excellent restaurant!!! The food is always fantastic! The service is excellent! The atmosphere is wonderful and you enjoy being there!!! It is a little bit pricey, but I'm willing to pay that price because not a lot of places around have all these qualities!!! Absolutely a five star restaurant!!! Very happy customer!!!

Make sure you make reservations! The food was amazing, not sure what they put on the lobster potatoes but it was excellent, espresso martini was also on point! We got there late around 9:30, our server was awesome, Alex thanks for making the experience great!

Worth the food. One of the best steaks I've had in awhile. Our waitress was amazing. Forget her name but she knew what she was doing!! Also manager/owner gave off great vibes and will be back! Also didn't care that we were in our early 20s and treated us equally!
