Self check out... thanks to whatever happened in this area.. perhaps it was loss prevention.. or maybe someone who was just miserable in their own skin.. but it is more than obvious that management has totally suck the life and amazing personality out of who I personally found to be one of their greatest assets at this location.. N*th*n.. this smiling happy to see you young man was always a welcome end to my shopping experience at the North Frederick location.. did you ever think that just maybe the joy he found at work and with his loving friendly customers was the best part of his day.. shame on you!

On 12/29/23 I Went Grocery shopping at this location North Frederick, on RT-26 & Monocacy Blvd. They just switched from plastic to paper bags. One of Groceries bags was half full, but at the bottom where all the sides come together to form a bottom was Not glued together properly. When I had transferd my Groceries from the basket to my car ,... (The Bottom fell out ) making the bag useless. I had to go into my apartment to get a heavy duty trash Bag to put my Groceries in and Carrie them in to my Apartment. *** Also there is Not a built in handle to help carry the paper bag. Like there are on seasonal gift bags. ** This is a very bad ideal to switch from Plastic to Paper Bags. It won't last long .. Walmart will get more complaints.

I just absolutely HATE Walmart for their terrible, destructive packaging!! And, I hate the makers of Naked juices for their very, very environmentally damaging packaging!!! Walmart has the nerve to not have what you order, and then charge you full price for another product that is similar. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER WALMART!!! STOP SENDING ME INDIVIDUAL BAGS FOR EVERYTHING!!!!!

I'd be lying to you if I told you I wanted to come here. The only reason I came here was because no matter where I had stopped before, I could not find the items I was looking for. So, on my way back home I decided I would stop here and give it a try. I guess I was lucky on my stop, because the items I couldn't find anywhere else, they actually had. Which is a rarity when it come to stocking ability of Walmart. I want to point out here that Walmart is becoming a bit like Dollar General now. They leave their stocking carts all over the place which makes for an interesting work of getting through the store. I'm not sure why they have the need to have all the carts everywhere, but it turns into a hassle. Once I had all my items, I hurried up to the front to pay and be on my way. Like most Walmart locations, there were very few registers open and a backed up line at the self checkout registers.

The workers are rude. I have had rotten food in pick ups multiple times. I would rather drive farther to a different location than go here.

I like going to the cashier Sam. He is very friendly, has a good pace when checking you out, tells you the total, is overall a great person. The store itself is fairly clean. One word of advice don't go hungry cause there is a subway as you walk in.

Walmart is Walmart. At this particular Walmart, I had a terrible experience with one of their employees. I believe Bart is his name. I stood outside while my sister ran in to quickly grab an item 10 minutes before they closed. This was during covid when they changed their hours so we did not realize they were about to close. As she walked in the store, Bart told her to stop and leave since they were about to close. She insisted on grabbing her item quickly (which I understand is an annoyance for anyone who is trying to clock out and get home). He then called her a stupid b**** audibly as she continued on. I confronted him as name calling is never acceptable in a customer service role. He then got in my face and started name calling me. A requested a manager and told her what happened. I am surprised he is still employed here after they know about his unprofessional behavior.

Walmart's are usually bad, but this one takes the cake. They have no bags over the meat section. Could have contamination all over from leaks. They don't have a lot of items all other places have. Very limited. No bulk dish rags. Had no sleds, but full of 100$ bears that can double as a fury costumes. Disgusting. Checkouts say you didn't scan something, while you actually did. Either prices missing or on wrong shelf. You can't get assistance anywhere in the store. Frederick, please get a SuperTarget. Until then, will start shopping in VA.

I'm very impressed at this Walmart ( in comparison to others ). It's done a great job adapting to new situations and changes mandated by the pandemic and usually has everything I need. But again, it's Walmart - a store for the masses. The workers are generally friendly and helpful and the store is clean and neat. It has a nice sized garden center and they run an organized pickup area. The lot is large but the entrance into the lot is terrible seeing it is at the front of the store leaving cars struggling to maneuver around customers who are entering and exiting the store. They could easier add access to route 26 to alleviate this issue.

So me and my mother went to get our tires fixed and they looked at us and did not help one bit and my mom had to bring her tire to the auto center and it took us an hour or so long for them to help us. It shouldn't take 2 hours. Maybe 30 minutes at the most. I felt bad and felt upset that they didn't help us at all. I'm pretty sure they were racist at the Walmart there. Our grocery shopping was fine and all, but the auto center is the worst service I've ever experienced. I strongly don't recommend the auto center...

I placed an on line order for pick up same day and waited and it continued to say pending. I waited and waited until I realized it wasn't changing 4 hours into the wait time. It was now past the pick up time. I then attempted to call the store for another 30 minutes and could not get anyone to answer the phone. After repeatedly calling for an extended period of time I finally was able to be put on hold for yet more time. Finally I spoke to "William" who claimed to be the manager and said he didn't know anything about the order so once I shared the order number he confirmed it was never pulled. Now it was much later in the evening and I just wanted to get a resolution which my only choice was to cancel the order. In the meantime they had already CHARGED my credit card. Also, when speaking to the gentlemen I found out he was the assistant manager of that department and not the store manager. He told there were no managers to call exception 1-800-Walmart and then hung up the phone. Now I know why I haven't been to this Walmart since March 13, 2020(Pre COVID) and today is February 7, 2021. By the way, the order consisted of 3 items resulting in $26.00. #Horriblecustomerservice #Whyishopamazon Walmart you are unbelievable!!!

This is a good Walmart. It was clean and had a variety of items. We breezed through finding all what we needed or wanted except for Clorox or Lysol wipes. We used the self check out and there was someone there to assist us with that process.
