I won't lie, this place pleasantly surprised me. I mean- a beach themed place in the mountains and a college town... my expectations were low. But wow did they impress at every level. As a water/beach loving girl, the ambiance (to include a sand pit) was so perfect I could almost make myself believe I WAS at the beach. Our server was so friendly and on top of it. Our drinks never went empty and she made several great recommendations to improve our experience. And then the food. We devoured the cheese fries. Even my friend who doesn't like cheese fries are them. Something about that Gouda sauce instead of cheddar.... We had shrimp and fish tacos and a chicken sandwich. The tacos were fresh and delish. The chicken sandwich wasn't anything special but hit the spot if that's your thing. And we liked that you could choose what sauce to have the chicken dipped in. This might become a must stop anytime I am driving by on I-70!!!!

Had my moms 70th bday party here and they were very accommodating. Cute little Sandy outdoor area and all the food was really good. I'll be back next time I'm in town.

Great lunch on a rainy Saturday. Fantastic service and satisfying food. Looks like a fun place for drinks as well! Interesting menu. They really care about what they make, and treat their customers with warm and friendly service. Highly recommend.

Good breakfast spot. Very cold dining room in the winter. Charge an extra dollar and turn on the heat!

Don't let the outside scare you away - we almost skipped right by given the random house look. I'm glad I convinced the kids to give it a shot. The food and service are both good. The decor fits the name - very beach-y. We were in town for a basketball game and stumbled upon this little place after the game to grab some dinner. I had the Cobb salad with red wine vinaigrette - some of the best chicken I've had on a salad. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly and paired nicely with the dressing and salad toppings. Both kids got burgers which were prepared well, but the fries stole the show. They were battered and crispy! It's probably unlikely we'll be in the area again, but I'd recommend it for anyone in the area or passing through. They had a steak special with a blue cheese sauce that evening that looked delicious - the older couple sitting near us both ordered it. My mouth is watered.

Great food and great staff. We always stop when we are in the area. Best tacos, flatbread pizzas, and cheesesteaks- we seem to always order these as they never fail to disappoint. The atmosphere is relaxed, we really enjoy the place and I always recommend.

Amazing food & atmosphere! Great friendly staff. One of our family's favorite spots to eat and hang out. We love this place for a taco and beer stop. Try the shore fries! :)

$50 door dash delivery.Ordered crab cake sandwich. No Tartar sauce. The crab cake was fine but the sandwich completely dry without sauce. Disappointed. Ordered Islander burger medium. Came rare at best. Was literally dropping blood. Came with the worlds smallest pineapple slice and almost no teriyaki sauce. Another disappointment. Diet Coke was pictured as a can. Instead I got a small fountain drink. Ice was melted by the time it arrived so it was watered down. Finally the pepperoni flat bread was not good. Nothing was missing it was just tasteless. The dogs liked it after we decided not to eat it.Definitely will not go back.

I would like to thank The Beach Club of Frostburg for accommodating a party of 14 including a toddler on the first beautiful Saturday of the year (feels like) outside in their sandy patio area. I know with the pandemic things are slowly getting back to normal. The staff here did all they could to keep everyone satisfied. I ordered the fish tacos, but felt like they may have been missing something but overall ok. Mango salsa was nice. Wendy was a great server & prices were very reasonable. They assisted us with keeping our birthday cupcakes cool while we ate outside. I recommend the rum runner & Hawaiian flatbread for sure! Music was great and so were the sun & breeze. I thrive in environments like this. Sun, sand, music, etc.

The Beach Club of Frostburg is one of those places you want to share with everyone, but also keep to yourself so you don't have to wait through a crowd! It's literally a beach hideaway in the Mountains of Allegany County, Maryland. The servers and bartenders are an absolute delight with attentive service; the fancy drink menu reminds me of being on vacation in the Caribbean, and each of the drinks are just as beautiful to look at as they are tasty; and the FOOD! Don't even get me started on the food. Fresh Fish - whether you want it in a deliciously sloppy taco - or the Coconut Crusted Mahi they have only on Friday nights, you literally cannot go wrong. There are specials every night, live music often, and such a fantastic vibe when you walk through the place. If that isn't enough, have a sit at one the picnic tables outback and put your feet in the sand. ACTUAL SAND IN ALLEGANY COUNTY. There isn't a downside to this place, except maybe it could be larger. They have an incredibly small kitchen for the amount of customers they see in a night. But, seriously, it's worth the wait!!

Stopped here for a birthday party and sat outside on the sand picnic tables. Shared the Hawaiian Flatbread for an appetizer - which was good, I'm not sure I would order that item again but it was good enough. For my entree I settled on the steak salad - which had a nice assortment of greens and vegetables - would say the steak that was billed as NY strip wasn't. So that was pretty disappointing. I also had a mixed drink - Caribbean rum punch - which was very good and I would highly recommend it. Would say try this - I would try another item personally when I go back.
