This was a place that came up for our search off the Highway. Place was very nice for appearance. Parking lot was pretty full for a Sunday. Sat at the bar due to too long of a wait. Service was great. I need GF so I Ordered crab soup, stuffed mushrooms for apps, dinner I had steak filet w crab meat, baked potato and Caesar salad. It was DELICIOUS! Hard cider on tap, ended w a delicious cup of coffee. There are GF options!

Four of us came here for lunch on a Sunday. We stayed on the lighter side and ordered quesadillas, salad, roast beef, and a brisket burrito. This is all average comfort food. My brisket burrito was a little bit of brisket with tater tots mixed in. Why they can't do a proper brisket sandwich is a mystery. We had a nice table outside in the shade but we could hear a lot of road noise. I feel like I would need to return and get a steak in order to really do a review. But for the lunch, meh.

Great food. Quick & friendly service. Good spot not far from the interstate. Good atmosphere. I’d recommend for a good evening meal.

Great food, friendly service, and really nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend! Even though they were packed it wasn’t’t that long of a wait. The only thing I am upset about is that they don’t do carry out after 5 pm.

The food it ten times better than Texas Roadhouse. The waitress Cassy, is very good, and considerate. We are from Pennsylvania, and we traveled 40 mins to get here, and we will do it again. Very clean restaurant.

"Bud," you may ask, "What kind of people are hanging, eating and day drinking at the Sand Springs Saloon in Frostburg, Maryland on a Saturday afternoon?" Well, I'll tell ya. There's a couple of "good ol'" boys bellied up at the bar. Facial hair all... You may or may not be surprised, but I'm not the only one with a ponytail! I'm not wearing camo or plaid flannel, but there's a few biker types sitting at a high table enjoying a few Busch Lights, so I'm not out of place. Ball caps are popular here, same as at home I guess. The West Virginia game seems to be prevalent on the majority of TVs, five in all, but the Penn State/Ohio game is on two of them. Don't misunderstand, this isn't a corner bar in some forgotten mountain town, it's a pretty nice establishment, modern by every stretch of the word.. All the waitresses seem to be the "girl next door" types that banter with the regulars at the bar when they're picking up drink orders. All and all, a really nice place.

Slow service attributable to a busy Sunday crowd and, perhaps, because we had a new server in training. Nonetheless, we enjoyed a brief repast for lunch during a 70s style road trip through the northeast. Iced tea & coffee were our thirst slakers of choice. I opted for the Flat Iron Steak Salad which was accompanied by a breadstick. Since we were in Maryland, Will chose the crab cake sandwich which he ate open-faced (too much bun). He commented that it was very good. The place was in an old building where the seating was more broken up into rooms creating a slightly more interesting and somewhat more private experience. A large added open bar and dining area and outside porch made this a fairly large restaurant for this small, off the beaten path town.

Lunchtime on our drive home from a cross-country trip brought us to this quirky small college town and Trip Advisor again served us well by leading us to this local favorite. It was warm enough to sit out on the outdoor deck for lunch to take in the fall folliage on the surrounding hills. I had a great steak and cheese and the homemade chips were delicious. It was obvious that this is popular with locals who were there in number, and I can see why. Service was quick, professional and friendly and portions were generous. Thanks for an enjoyable meal!

The food was very good. Very clean. Very busy so expect a wait for food but was worth it. The girl waiting on us was very nice.

Spacious, open, with plenty of outdoor seating in the warmer season, this is one of Frostburg's few options for a really good evening out. It's a delightful uphill walk from the city center, and one can catch one's breath at journey's end by gulping in the fresh mountain air and looking at some of the most spectacular valley views from the car park before entering the restaurant. Their burgers and spare ribs are grilled to perfection, juicy and seasoned just right. Generous portions, friendly service for the most part (there can be a grumpy server or two), and a warm, woody, casual ambience. We've been here several times, and though the quality of the food can be variable (the Philly style burger on our last visit was not as juicy or as generously topped with mushrooms and onions, and the fries were ordinary French fries, not the seasoned fries we've had on earlier occasions), the portions are generous (small eaters like us usually end carrying home half our meals!). The specialty cocktails are iffy, and the bartender perhaps needs an orientation in the art of making a satisfying cocktail. *It's a good idea to reserve ahead, especially at weekends*.

We were in the area camping and stumbled on this restaurant. Couldn’t be happier with our choice. I had the Wrangler, perfectly cooked and great flavor. Spouse had seafood fettuccine, sauce was very good. Plenty of food, reasonably priced.

We made a stop at this establishment when passing through Frostburg. We had read positive reviews. This was validated by the busy parking lot. The food was excellent. The staff was friendly. The atmosphere casual. And the restaurant clean. I would certainly recommend this place when passing through Frostburg.
