Beware!!! I contracted FOOD POISONING from this Chipotle Kentlands location! I purchased a Chipotle bowl on 3/14/2024 with rice, beans, 1/2 chicken, 1/2 steak, pico de gallo, queso, sour cream and lettuce. 4 hours later, I vomited what I ate from Chipotle! And had constant diarrhea and upset stomach for 3 days straight, cold chills, etc.! Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting. I am waiting for the Chipotle Incident Team to contact me.

We only went to this Chipotle because the Gaithersburg Square Shopping Center line was to the door. Most of the time we would never go to the Kentland's because of the service, but to night was no different. As we watch the guy server put food in the girls infro t of us bowels before us and how little he was serving. My husband and I were next. When he was fixing my bowl there was very little rice spooned into the bowel. Next, came the chicken. My husband asked for a little more chicken and the server smart a** gave maybe 5 more pieces. Then when my husband looked at the beans that were dried out, he asked for fresh beans plaese. Those beans in the pan were dry as the desert sand. But, the server took the old dry beans and put them on top of the freshly cooked beans and then said, "take it up with Corporate that is what we are told to do!"Well, we said, take this up with Corporate and walked out with none of that nasty customer service and dried up bean service. I will no longer be going to this disrespectful place anymore!!

Tonight I went shopping to be able to collaborate with my children's school at Jones Lanen and the place was very dirty apart from the fact that the salsa station was terrible, all the dirty sauces and the black avocado and the customer service ? bad.

This establishment applies an additional charge for guacamole when selecting the sofritas burrito bowl option. Upon inquiry, I was informed that the charge is attributed to the inclusion of meat in my order. Subsequently, I clarified that my selection was sofritas, a non-meat option. It's pertinent to note that guacamole is not an additional cost when opting for a full veggie mode, encompassing supergreens, sofritas, white rice, fajita veggies, fresh tomato salsa, and corn salsa, denoted by the 'V' on the menu.It raises concern that despite being knowledgeable about the menu offerings, there was a need for extensive communication with the on-duty manager. The apparent lack of awareness regarding the menu items is a crucial aspect that needs attention. Furthermore, the question arises as to why a manager, purportedly responsible for overseeing food service, may lack fundamental knowledge about the distinction between meat and non-meat items.This incident prompts a reflection on the overall training and education standards at this location. It is imperative that staff members possess comprehensive knowledge about the food they serve to meet customer expectations and dietary preferences. Addressing these concerns would undoubtedly enhance the overall customer experience and contribute to the establishment's reputation for excellence.Vegetarian options: I recently discovered that apparently Sofritas is classified as meat. This revelation has taken me by surprise and prompts a reconsideration of its categorization. Is there a more detailed or nuanced explanation regarding this classification that I may not be aware of? I would appreciate any clarification on this matter.

Every time I have ordered from here something has gone wrong. When I order online, the food they give me is never what I ordered. The portions are different every time- sometimes I’ll get a lot of meat, other times I’ll get about a tablespoon full. Some of workers at this location (Kentlands) have attitudes towards me whenever I go to the counter to pick up my food. I’ve had a worker roll her eyes at me and there was another who put her finger up at me to stop me from talking while I was in the middle of telling her my name for the order. I came in one time when the app was down and they were only getting order numbers and not the names but since my app wasn’t working, they made me go through a whole process of showing them a confirmation email (which I wasn’t sent) and eventually I had to show them the actual transaction in my bank account. Not sure why I would’ve been lying about having ordered food…Today was my last straw when I ordered a kids meal and some chips and guac, which would’ve been my whole meal. When I got there they told me they didn’t have chips and just threw in an orange instead. When I get home with my meal, I come to find out that not only did they also not give me the guacamole I paid $5 for (including the chips), the orange they gave me was ROTTING. The prices here are way too expensive to have service like this.

Ordered through the app and asked for double meat and counted 5 pieces of steak.. i paid $20. never ever ordering through the app or coming to this location ever again this is so inconvenient

For the kids meal, the server filled 1/4 the usual amount in the cup. When asked can you atleast fill half. She had guts to say - it's for kids as if they eat everything! Who is she to judge what a kid eats, it's her job to fill the cup at least 1/2 to 3/4 quantity without judgement! Never had this experience in this or any other chipotle before!

I just want to know why every time i walk in a chipotle.. i am the stopping point for them to do their togo orders, then i sit there for 5 minutes.. and wait for them to acknowledge my existence, while they make 5 burritos.

Did a online order pick up and when I went to get it, they asked me for my name. The young lady looked in the counter to see if it was ready and she said "no" she didn't even look at all the bags. She was more into gossiping with her co worker. I had to look at the bag myself and it was there. If I didn't asked I would have to wait , longer. Also why is my side of tortilla balled up instead of rolled .

The staff is pleasant AND the bowls are barely filled AND the meat is unevenly seasoned. I am referencing the carne asada on the limited time menu but I don't think I would want to find out if the other meat proteins are also unevenly seasoned. This location is clean ( I came in during the latter part of lunch traffic and not many people were inside. The floors and doors were clean).
