I have never had a bad meal here. It is one of my favorite Indian cuisines, and I’ve been to a lot of them. The chicken is delicious! Including the Butter chicken. Good all around!

Got the Butter Chicken from GrubHub yesterday for 15$, Undercooked fat chunks of chicken in a watery gravy. I don't expect heavens to fall into my plate but the least you can do with a butter chicken is a thick buttery gravy. Such a shame.

Lunch buffet was ***not good***.The restaurant opens at 1130, I arrived at 1145 with my wife. The buffet selection was poor, the food was lukewarm at best, and most dishes had very off-putting flavors.I won’t go back.

Came here for lunch buffet today and it was great! For 9.99 per person, you really can't beat the price anywhere else! Curry Place is one of the few Indian places, or any place to my knowledge, to open up buffet after COVID. They were quite active in enforcing the clean plate policy for seconds, so that was good to see. It was also nice to see that at the time we dined, on a Friday lunch, there were only 3 other groups besides us. Perhaps if you strike during the weekday you can also ensure a relaxed lunch flow. In terms of food, I would say I felt it was a good deal for 9.99 buffet. I felt it was a typical Americanized Indian food experience, nothing spicy at all. Butter chicken and naan (naan is by request though I believe it is included in the 9.99, but is served hot and piping to the table) were fantastic. The biggest limitation with Curry Place's buffet deal is the selection. This is not Curry Palace, it's just Curry Place, so don't expect an expansive sprawl.

Indian is my favorite food so I am very picky about it. As I am open to trying new places (like this one), I must say this is by far one of my other favorite places. Everything was so good and very flavorful. I never have tried dumplings with Indian flavorings in it, and OMG the BEST THING EVER! I definitely recommend as well as their other foods!!!If you want to get good Indian or feeling open to trying a new place, go here! I DEF recommend and will order from here again!Thanks Curry Place!!

I really enjoy the food here. When I lived in Gaithersburg whenever I shop at the Lotte I put in my order here. Its been a while since venturing to that shopping center but I was in the area and had to pick up some items from the Lotte one Friday night so I visited my "old friend". I went crazy - Ordered my and hubby's fave dish, baingan bharta, chicken lollypop , garlic naan, veggie samosas and chilli mom dumplings (AMAZING!). All items were delicious. In the past I have also had their honey garlic shrimp (my absolute fave), goat biryani, butter chicken, goat vindaloo, and lamb rogan josh. In my 5+ years of eating here I have never had a bad dish. I love this place!!!!!
Our first time here. Ordered take out over the phone. The order was ready when promised and all food was hot. Generous portions and great flavoring. The samosas are packed full and have a nice little kick. The saag is outstanding. Firm paneer and wondaful spinach flavoring. The chi ken korma is also a delight. Generous rice portions. Great discovery and will be back.

Rude staff, stale food and the worst buffet! Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else. As an Indian, I can say this with 100% confidence that I know my cuisine. Their buffet menu is nowhere near worth the price and neither fresh. Food is usually sitting out there for hours and not rotated, people who have visited this place would know that. Do yourself a favor and if you live in Gaithersburg/Germantown area, go to Tandoori nights or eat at home instead. I made the mistake of visiting here after doing my groceries next door, bad decision!

I enjoyed this restaurant pre-Covid. I wish they offered curbside pickup. We have a Doordash pass - they are not on Doordash - I'm not paying extra for a Grubhub delivery. I assume they must be doing well enough that they don't feel the need to walk out their door to deliver food to a car so their customers feel safe. There are other restaurants that do offer that service - tried Laredo Grill tonight - very good!
