“Its small with limited tables. Its definitely not the place to go if you're in a hurry. They're a little disorganized. $10 credit minimum. I was a little disappointed that I wasn't told that they didn't have tamales (which I ordered) until they delivered the rest of the food to the table, rather than letting me know as soon as they figured it out. This place has a really special spot in my mom's heart and she loves dragging me back.“
“Very good Honduran food. Pleasant bilingual service. Above average presentation, especial considering the very casual decor. Three 4-tops (that seat three persons) and three 2-tops. 4 picnic tables outside. Order at the counter. This (Olney) is one of several locations. I had basic fare: a cheese Pupusa and Honduran deep fried tacos. They did not disappoint. I saw another fancier dish that some other customer had ordered which looked delicious. Prices are reasonable in this post-Covid, high interest time.“
“This place has changed to the Gardenia Cafe for a little over a month. Was recommended by a friend. We went with another couple for an early dinner before a play at the Arts Barn. My wife posted something on Facebook. We've been recommending it too. Food and service were exceptional. Healthy.“
