Great restaurant for Korean/Japanese food. The place is a bit small and not the cleanest, but food is good and not terribly expensive and they're generous with the side dishes. The buffet is great if you're on a budget, but the menu items are definitely better in my opinion.I really want to give this place a 5 star rating because the quality of the food for the price is really good! Just try it and see!

One of a few places that offer both good sushi and Korean food.

The sign outside said "Korean" so when I went in and asked for a carryout order of jjangjangmyeon, I was disappointed to hear from the server that they don't have it. Jjangjangmyeon is a quintessentially Korean dish. Why do you have a sign outside saying "Korean" then?

Great food! I go for Japanese, my wife goes for Korean.

Food was great. Sushi was awesome along with their fried rice. 4 stars only because the wait staff was a little slow.

I eat in this nice place many times a year! This is the best place to to have a good dinner. I visit this place routinely. The cooking is fantastic, the workers are friendly and the cost is reasonable. I like eating in this restaurant over a tasty lunch.

My daughter was looking for Udon and I wanted sushi. We found Ichiban on Yelp and thought we'd give it a try. I didn't realize it's right on 355. We must have driven past this place a million times and never noticed it. We did take out, so my review is about that experience. The person on the phone was very friendly and took my order promptly. She also repeated everything back to me. She told me 20 minutes. When I arrived, I went inside and it was ready to go. They had 2 sushi chefs behind the counter and the place has a nice, neutral decor. It's not big, but was inviting. We ordered Tempura Udon soup. Miso Soup. A Spring Roll. A California Roll, a Fresh Scallop Roll and a Spicy Salmon Avocado Roll. The bill was around $48 before tip. Their rolls average around $6.95 for regular rolls and more for special ones. I felt it was a bit on the pricey side, but the quality was really good. I'm a sushi snob, and I LOVE Yuraku in Germantown, but the sushi here was presented nicely and was delicious. The size of the individual pieces was good also. Good ration of fish to rice. I haven't tried their Nigiri yet, but will next time. I'd definitely give this place another try. They have an extensive menu and do Japanese and Korean food. So many things to try yet! On the Covid Side. They were following all the protocols and were willing to bring it out to the car for me also.

We enjoy going out. Last night we found this excellent restaurant which we didn’t know before. We passed a lovely evening there with delicious food and an efficient team and a professional chief cook. We put this place in our list and we will surely go again very soon. We warmly recommend.

I call this outstanding restaurant often since I love the ambiance that is characterizes this place. The staff is exceptionally friendly and well trained. The service is exceptionally rapid. Needless to say, the food you eat is excellent. I have been there many times and I was always joyful. The cost is modest. I highly recommend this restaurant to to everybody.

I had Bi Bim Bap delivered and there was no rice. So all I ended up with was veggies and meat. I am very disappointed with the restaurant. I've had good experiences either dining in or delivery, however, this delivery mistake is not forgivable. Bap is rice in Korean, and I ended up with Bi Him with no Bap. I guess quality control is out the window there.
