Stopped by here at a moment when I was starving. The owner was working the counter since some of his people were out sick. Super nice man. I got the captains platter, which had enough food on it for lunch and also lunch the next day. The fish fillets were excellent with really tasty breading. The fried shrimp are big and juicy, and the steamed shrimp and scallops were both excellent. The crabcake was huge and tasty. This is a tiny place in a strip mall, but definitely worth the trip over to find it. Hidden gem.

Great food. Great service. Clean. Very helpful when explaining menu. Can't wait to visit again in summer! Crab cakes were so good. Our favorite was the scallop plate. And combo plate with everything was excellent!

This restaurant does NOT provide “fresh from Baltimore “ seafood! Do not buy their crab cakes - full of backfin NO lump meat! Does not taste like Inner Harbors crab cakes. Also do not eat their fried shrimp - it was simply “frozen/pre-breaded packaged shrimp!! That you could buy from the grocery store! The crinkle fries were tasteless and stale - no crunch! The hush puppies were over fried and small. The meal was NOT worth $25.00+!!!! Also they came up with a flimsy excuse about not having any lobster bisque soup! This carry-out restaurant does not deserve a 4-star rating!!

Ordered a large Maryland Crab soup to go. What precious few strands of crab meat there were had shells and floated in a jug of tomato broth with some veggies. Perhaps they just scooped a few ladles off the top and forgot to stir it or something, but no one should have a seafood spot in Maryland and present something like that as acceptable crab soup.

Thankyou!! It is sooooo hard to find fried seafood that isn’t premade and frozen. Look no more! I got the fried oysters (2nd time) and it must be eaten fresh and hot with cocktail sauce!! Really good!! and because I had never eaten fried coconut shrimp before,I ordered that too. Heaven! Make sure you tip!! The owner (?) does all this from scratch and works hard to please.

A terrific takeout experience with seafood that is not all fried (Thank goodness!). The staff was attentive and the food we purchased for our first time was a varied lot just to try this establishment out. Our choices on this trip were a Maryland seafood gumbo, stuffed broiled flounder with mixed vegetables and a fried fish sandwich (also flounder) with fries, hushpuppies and coleslaw. The gumbo was flavorful without making the common and cardinal mistake of being too salty. I'd found this to be a welcome commonality in all of our choices. Salt is the enemy in most takeout and Jazzy's thankfully knows how to keep things fresh and tasty without overdoing it. The broiled flounder was fresh and welcome... wonderfully, yet mildly seasoned, but for our taste just delightful. Order it when you get there, but make a different choice over the mixed vegetables. They were the only item in this bunch that was a bit bland over the others. Far from awful... just not as good. The fish sandwich was stellar. Crisp batter, nice bread and a portion of seafood that could have sustained another roll to feed a second mouth. Fries don't necessarily travel well and frankly my wife and I tend to eat many of them at pickup for this reason. - Not greasy, and nice. The coleslaw was the finest surprise... I'll be back for it. Not overly sweet (The other big restaurant mistake - Why is overly sugaring with cabbage a thing?). The hushpuppies were done to perfection and I'd wished I'd double ordered for later. That being said, we shall return and often and you should make a point of going there as well if you're in the area.

The Crab cake platter is an embarrassment to Maryland Crab Cakes. Zero lump crab to be found. This should be called Essence of Crab cake. The vegetables that accompany this platter were pure water. The rice was average. At $18 for 2 crab cakes our expectations were not high but this was pathetic. I had the broiled Ultimate Seafood platter and it was just okay Scallops were decent but shrimp was overcooked. The fish filet was a bland fish and not exciting. Worst part is the crab cake of course(see above). Maybe the subs are the way to go with Jazzy's but we're not interested in trying them.

Take away only, strip mall location but still provided tasty, fresh, properly prepared seafood. Very friendly and quite reasonable- if this storefront was closer to my home I'd be a regular. Even so I'll be back.
