I will definitely be back. I ordered the crab Rangoon's to start. My main was the massaman curry, it was delicious! I really enjoyed the potatos in it. The whole dish was great and had the mango sticky rice dessert, definitely recommend. The restaurant is small but nice, cute decor and they do offer some beers and wine.

Located in the Muddy Branch shopping center next to First Watch, Lum Thai promises an authentic Thai dining experience that tantalizes the taste buds and delights the senses. My recent visit was nothing short of excellence, as I enjoyed a flavorful journey through the rich and vibrant tapestry of Thai cuisine. We started with the Chicken Wings, a dish that proved to be a delightful combination of crispy perfection and aromatic flavor of garlic. We also ordered the Chicken Pop, a Thai-style popcorn chicken that was simply irresistible. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, these bite-sized morsels were bursting with flavor. For our main courses, we opted for the classic Pad Thai with chicken and the Drunken Noodles with beef (medium spice level). Both dishes were a combination of flavors and textures, expertly prepared to showcase the essence of Thai cuisine. The Pad Thai had the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and tangy notes, while the Drunken Noodles captivated our palates with its bold and spicy undertones. Throughout the meal, the employees ensured that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. The constant friendly smiles of the employees were so welcoming. Their kindness and attentiveness added an extra layer of warmth to the already inviting atmosphere, leaving a lasting impression on us. Lum Thai surpassed all expectations, delivering a culinary experience that was both memorable and gratifying. From the delectable dishes to the impeccable service, every aspect of our visit was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to excellence. I will surely be returning to try other dishes!

Every time I order the food is superbly presented, fresh veggies, and exceptionally tasty. I love their chicken wings, drunken noodles, and crispy duck selections. My plan is to sample everything on then menu. 5 trips so far and absolutely looking forward to the next one.

Since I've visited 3 more times since my first time,, I thought I'd do an update.. The Five Star rating remains the same.. if i could give them a six, I would just because i think they excel on every measure. Believe me, I don't give out 5's lightly. The staff are truly amazing: very friendly and helpful about choosing different menu items.. They even remember i don't want ice in my water.. The Curry Puff pastry is the best puff pastry I've had anywhere. Even though deep fried, you can see the individual layers in the pastry. It is not a lump of fried dough but true layers and layers of thin pastry almost like phyllo dough. Tried the longan juice which is very sweet but not cloying. The pad eggplant with seafood was delish and stuffed with seafood. It even made good leftovers when heated on low in the microwave. The tom kha with vegetables is now a staple for me. It also reheats well. Their Serving vessels are very stylish and really elevate the presentation.

After spending 2.5 weeks in Thailand, my husband and I were missing and craving Thai food so we decided to check out Lum Thai. We ordered the tom yum soup with chicken, nam tok salad, crispy dusk ka prao, and khao soi chicken. All of the dishes were delicious and hit the spot! Best Thai food I've had in MoCo. I highly recommend Lum Thai and will be coming back!

01/14/2024:I love this Thai restaurant!Food is always fresh and delicious. Staff is very professional, personable and consistently prepares a perfect meal. I like to customize my orders by adding different veggies and extra protein (usually shrimp or salmon). They strive to satisfy your every request.I took home a phenomenal meal on 1/14/24 and had enough for 2 generous meals.Soooo yummy. A wonderful addition to the Muddy Branch Shopping Center.Thank you!

Located in a strip mall with a Giant food. It was recently opened so I decided to try it. We were the only folks in the restaurant for lunch. Service was very polite. She bought our food and sat at a table with another employee. My food was like warm and not very tasty. My friend commented the same there are several other options for Thai, so most likely will not return.
