Mi Peru must be recognized for a metric that is often overlooked in charbroiled chicken joint reviews. The chicken, which is fantastic, is similar to Sardi's Don Pollo, etc... As is the sauce. But not enough reviews go over the quantity of the sauce. For dine-in chicken, Mi Peru is SUPERIOR because you get a FULL BOTTLE of green and yellow sauce 0n the table. Most other restaurants will nickle and dime you for every drop of their sweet ambrosia-like signature sauce. At Mi Peru they supply you with the very generous amount of INFINITY. If you are looking for a dine-in chicken experience that is superior by INFINITE measure, look no further than Mi Peru. The staff is also delightful.Kid-friendliness: Your kids will be treated like ROYALTY. The restaurant is family-owned and does seas0nal decorati0ns.

Overpriced and they should take lessons customer service.

They make the best Peruvian chicken, period. Sauces are made in house- the yellow sauce is perfect and the green sauce is actually hot. Yucca is always fresh, and they have a ton of other authentic Peruvian dishes. Ceviche is also great. Locally and Peruvian-owned. An original.

Best Peruvian food in the area especially for the price! I refuse to go anywhere else now if I’m in Montgomery county. Can’t beat the combination of delicious food and the wonderful family that runs it.

This restaurant is the best Peruvian food I have ever had in my life. They have consistently provided delicious offerings with friendly service. It is a woman owned establishment and a family restaurant. It has a cozy vibe with an abundance of outdoor seating. It has a relaxing vibe with beautiful live potted plants and decorations that pay tribute to the wonderful country of Peru.

Well... was my first time here, small, kinda cozy, few tables outside, not that busy (maybe because the time of the day I was and of course the temperature outside, around 90°)well! since it's a peruvian restaurant and my 1st time, I should try the "plato bandera" from Perú right? Ceviche; I should say the taste was good, better than many other peruvian restaurants in the area (I'll say very close 2 Barra Brava), price? about the same, pay cash and save like 80¢, unfortunately they don't have liquor license yet so no beer with ur ceviche ? (I know a classic one), but plenty of sodas and some juices.I asked my ceviche without cancha (toasted corn) just in case, that's why is not in the picture. The reason about my 3 stars it's because the sweet potato and the corn (choclo) were so hot, I could still see the steam coming from them, maybe just straight from the hot pot, that of course make the dish warm and ruin the flavor, lime juice warm? no right? so I asked the server if I could have a cold ones but she said that was the way they serve the ceviche; really??? a dish that it's supposed 2b very refreshing turned into a warm dish with a different flavor now, warm Leche de tigre and warm peaces of fish (perfect cut by the way) in your mouth, just ruined, not good! ?I'll try it again in a few months let c if they improve it. or just order without them, but paying $20 (with cc) for an incomplete ceviche dish??? ? kinda expensive right?or just order another dish. maybe lomo saltado, I heard is good ??.

Mi Peru is the only restaurant I patronize frequently and have an actual meal. My favorite is churrasco a lo pobre, a steak entree. I make a play on the word pobre, poor, and I call it churrasco a lo rico, rich, wealthy, but in this case tasty. Service is good till it comes to getting a check, at least for me. I always have to wait longer. As usual I get special treatment which isn't a good thing. Worse than that is this old waitress who is there on Sundays and she stops more than once at somebody's table to see how they're doing, she never stops at my table. The only other complaint I have is the time I simply asked for rice and chicken and the young waitress, modelo, model, as I call them as part of a pun on Modelo beer, brought me a typical Chinese Peruvian dish which I did not enjoy at all. I go there for Spanish-American food, emphasis on Spanish, aka European, and not for Chinese food. Modelo? I ask for modelo, again model, because of the waitresses. They have wine now and one wine bottle features a rather naturalistic picture, so I try to make an almost family friendly joke about it. Though my Spanish is not as good as their I can play with the language. Though it seems I've only complained, I really dig the scene (as only Keith Richards and I would say), I mean I really like the restaurant and the service because I stay away on Sundays when la vieja esa (esa vieja in good Spanish, the old lady) is there.

Good service, prices on menu have increased (about $3 average) compared to menu on Google (2021). Also they charge a 4% card usage fee that they don't mention unless you ask!
