I've always enjoyed Paladar for both the food and the ambiance, but on this particular day, my husband and 2 kids were seated near the bar, and Varsity Blues was playing on multiple TV monitors above the bar. At one point there was a non-family friendly semi-nude strip club scene that my young kids were exposed to. I was very unhappy about it, but my family asked me not to make a stink about it. Paladar should refrain from showing movies at a family restaurant, and stick to sports channels, if they absolutely must show something on the TV.

I had the worst experience in this restaurant. My family and friends felt disrespected the way the waitresses presented themselves to us. The Appetizeri got was my favorite is calamari! When they served it to me, it was cold, and then the waitresses did not even look at us or greet us. They put the food on the table we said thank you. We didn't even get a. You are very welcome. Then, when they bought back the second calamari, it was not good. Then they charge me twice. It is unreal to me. It taste like they just put it in the microwave it was the same calamari. Then we spent almost $700.00 total of everything. They could at least they accommodate us paying it with separate checks. I felt so disrespected the whole my family was there. The people there were very racists. I will never return to this restaurant again. Poor customer service.

Visit this location for early lunch or Happy Hour it seems to be the right choice at any time! The food was flavorful and served quickly due to our schedule. Served the Flan as a birthday treat! Perfect finish for the experience. Warm atmosphere!

An elevated casual dining experience with delicious food and drink. On the pricier side, though.

Host was friendly. the restaurant was nice. Our table was ready on time. However it took a very long time for our server to make first contact. She was friendly and knowledgeable but she was again painfully slow at the end. After eating our main course - we asked twice for a dessert menu which was never brought and we were just presented with our check - this took 15 min - this was very disappointing since I had indicate on my reservation that this was a special event with two birthday at our table and then it took another 15-20 minutes for her to return to pick up our credit card and cash us out. The kids were so bored they left and stood outside. We eventually had to forego dessert entirely because we did not have time to go find another place to get dessert. Some of the food was great, some was poor. Fish taco were the winner. Shrimp and grits had good flavor but the presentation in the crock made it difficult to cut up the shrimp and grits at the bottom became overwhelmed with the sauce. Pork taco were hard to even finish eating due the overly sweet sauce - everyone at the table tried them and nobody liked or finished them.

In my opinion, this place should minimally be a 4.5 or above. Their food is typically very good, reasonably priced, and large portions. I’ve gone to brunch several times, tried at least half of their offerings and all were very very good. Their $5 bloody Mary’s are some of the best I’ve ever had, they come with bacon, a shrimp, an olive and a lime! Service is the one thing that is hit or miss but is usually a hit and unless it’s atrocious, I don’t think should be a reason for low stars. Their happy hour is really good as well. If you’re on the fence, definitely give them a try, I really enjoy most of their offerings!

Once again a subpar experience. I never go here because of past bad experiences, but had to go because I was meeting up with a group. Unfortunately, nothing has changed- happy hour cocktails have zero to little alcohol, service is lacking, and I hope I have to never go back there again.

When eating at Paladar with a friend, my wife got a bowl there and loved it. She asked if we could go together for date night and I said sure. The ambience was better in the smaller right side room than at the bar, which had higher ceilings and was very loud. Very upbeat, chic, feminine energy. We aren't drinkers but got an app — the guac — which was bland. She liked the plantain chips better than me, and it was a small portion. She got her bowl as before, and I got a steak and blue cheese salad. I should have ordered it without onions, as it was LOADED with them. The steak was good, lots of meat, but the dressing was bland and the blue cheese was hard to find. We even got dessert, the sweet potato donuts for her and the chocolate tart for me. Hers was better than mine — the tart is not something I would order again...tiny, weird texture and not flavorful. Overall I thought it was underwhelming for 85 dollars tip included. The waitress was nice though and maybe a sandwich would have been better. I'd give it another try but probably only if asked ... the things we do for love! Overall 2/4 stars.

Dining room was chilly. First waitress was replaced because of her rudeness. Seems to have been understaffed. Service was slow. Side dish was lukewarm, at best, but replacement came after most of the meal was finished. Will not go back

The music was way too loud and when we asked if it could be lowered, the host responded in a dismissive way and the volume stayed the same. The server was not attentive until almost dessert time.

I came here because of items listed on the menu - Brazilian Feijoada, Argentinian Grill etc hoping to find food that taste and look like those dishes. This couldn't be any further from the truth. How do you take someone else's dish and make it in your establishment and not taste anything like the traditional dish itself ?? I can say this because I'm Brazilian and the Feijoada that I was served WAS NOT a "Brazilian Feijoada". It was a mish mash of ingredients and tasted nothing like a Feijoada. Argentinians are known for having some of the best grilled meat worldwide, alongside Brazil, and a tasteless steak with no salt, burnt sausage is not anything close to what I'd expect from an establishment that's charging $25+ a plate. I'm offended that these dishes are being called "Brazilian" and "Argentinian" when it's not even close. Fine if you want to make the dish, but please do not throw our name in there as a representation of what these nation foods taste like. Thank you
