Second time we've been there. Wasn't very busy seated quickly, service in the dining room by the bar staff. Calamari and fried pickle appetizers has starters. Hard to find much calamari in the pile of breading that was served. Fried pickles were okay. Caesar salad was very bland, shrimp tacos were great, all American Burger was overdone and underwhelming. Bar staff became distracted, not much to follow up service or table maintenance, ended up walking to the bar to pay the bill since we hadn't seen our server in a while. Overall experience was a solid "meh"and not the kind of experience that would make me return, but could give them another chance as it seemed that they were under-staffed on a Sunday evening.

Since moving to Gaithersburg, I've been to Ted's Bulletin numerous times for breakfast, lunch, happy hour, dinner, and late night drinks. Every time I walk into Ted's, I'm greeted by a warm and friendly face (usually Carissa or Adam). The service is best during breakfast and lunch. Among all the servers (Brendan, Daniel, Dom, Emma, Galo, Isiah, Justin, Nico, Patty, Tatiana, Todor) I've had, Patty is the best. She is warm and welcoming, knowledgeable about the menu, and attentive. Shout outs to Emma and Todor for making delicious drinks! For breakfast, my favorites include Chai Latte, Pineapple Ginger Mimosa, Blueberry Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, Duck Confit Hash (available in the Spring), Garden Omelet (made with egg whites, spinach, broccoli, tomatoes, mushrooms, and cheddar cheese), Jon's Omelet, and Smoked Salmon Benedict (not the Norway Benedict). If you're not in the mood for alcohol, they make delicious mocktails. Among the four mocktails, my favorites are Garden Party and Whiskey Surprise. For lunch, my favorites are Chicken Noodle Soup, Ted's Tomato Soup, Caesar Salad, Green Goddess Salad (available in the Spring), Halloumi Kale Salad, Harvest Salad (available Fall/Winter), and Mexican Street Salad. For happy hour, they offer $5 Draft Beer (including Aslin Seasonal IPA, Jailbreak Lady Friend), $6 Wines, $8 Signature Cocktails (Avenue Smash, Bad Apple, Blackberry Moon, Blueberry Mule, Botanical Garden, Cherry Old Fashioned (made with Bulleit instead of Maker's Mark), Cheshire Sour, Oldest Fashioned, Peach Pit, Ted's Hot Cider (made with Fireball), The Back Nine, Violet Queen), and $3 off Appetizers (including Bacon Cheeseburger Empanadas, Chicken Parm Sliders, Deviled Eggs Royale, Fried Pickles, Maryland Crab Dip, Reuben Tacos, Truffle Mac & Cheese Bites, Tuna Tartare, Whipped Ricotta). For dinner, my favorites are their Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Piccata, Lamb Dinner Plate (available Easter weekend only), Reuben with Truffle Fries, and Steak Frites. For dessert, my favorites are Cherry Blossom Tres Leches (available in three Spring), Cherry Coke Pie, and Ted's Tarts (Cherry Blossom, Peach, Peeps (seasonal around Easter), Strawberry).Next time, I'll have try their Chicken Parmesan, Chicken & Waffles, Grilled Shrimp Tacos, Lamb Mezze Plate, Lamb Burger, Mustard and Sesame Crusted Tuna Bowl, Pan Seared Rockfish, Roasted Chicken, and Spring Pappadelle.Dietary restrictions: gluten-free and vegetarianKid-friendliness: kids menu including Mr. Breakfast, PB&J, Kids Pasta, Grilled Cheese, Chicken Burger, Kids Burger, and Mr. Healthy HabitsWheelchair accessibility: wide door, restaurant is one level

Came on a weekend morning. Just wanted to pick up some food that I ordered to go. The managers where completely useless. The poor barista was slammed and they where just standing around telling people there was a wait, while I waited patiently (15 mins) just for someone to take care of me. Food came cold, and broken dry tarts. Lazy management. And there are mouse droppings in the bathroom, and mice running around the bakery mid day! Disgusting.

The manager, Mr. Adam, has been seen on multiple occasions, talking down to and about people of color. As a regular customer there, it has become very uncomfortable to continue supporting such an establishment…;-(

Wonderful brunch spot. Good Bloody Mary and boozy shake. Ordered the egg and grain bowl, really quite good. Service was good, a tad on the low side, bit it was busy. Ambiance is catchy, very Americana and chill. A lot of locations in NOVA.

Steak and short rib stroganoff were both very bland. Service was very slow.

We decided, two days before Easter to have a family gathering at a restaurant, we selected Ted’s Bulletin for the occasion. We were hoping (wishful thinking) but not expecting the restaurant could accommodate twenty patrons and and able to be seated at one table. I contacted the restaurant and spoke with Jason the manager. We were able to work together to make it happen, it took a miracle and we have him to thank. The restaurant was packed, the atmosphere was happy and pleasant. The total experience, without a doubt was everything I hoped for. As a retiree, working in a profession where team work is a necessity for providing outstanding service I tend to focus on the teamwork of staff and managers wherever i go. Jason went above and beyond the call of duty accommodating our family. I would also like to mention our waiters, Rosbin and Fernando for their attentiveness, pleasant and prompt service. So overall, Ted’s Bulletin gets “FIVE STARS”- A+James UlmerParking: Close handicap parking

I went here for my birthday, and Tay was our server. He was knowledgeable and I could tell without asking him that he enjoys what he does. He's great with his customers and knows much about Ted's restaurants to the level that I knew Urban BBQ's restaurants back in the 2010s when they had their run. The staff all works together as a team, and as someone who spent his 20s in foodservice that's a very refreshing sight to see. I ordered the huevos rancheros, and I am sitting here wishing i could just eat it again. My brother got the burger, and seeing a sit-down restaurant that makes smash burgers was also uncommon and really neat. My stepdad got steak and eggs-nothing to shake a stick at, and my mother got the reuben, which I polished off later that night. I was given S'mores ted tarts for my dessert, and I have to say I'll never eat pop tarts from the box again. I can't wait for my next visit.
