The reviews seemed good but when I got my food the first red flag was the spicy Mayo. Since when is spicy Mayo reddish clay color?! The wasabi looked like runny shamrock milkshakes from McDonald's. I got the basic California roll, shrimp tempura and salmon skin rolls. The only editable one was the shrimp tempura roll the rest I threw out. Super disappointing.

The food is good but the ramen is not ramen, it's ramen noodles in udon soup. Do not order the ramen unless that is what you're looking for.

Ordered several basic rolls for a quick dinner: shrimp tempura, spicy crunchy tuna, shrimp avocado, salmon avocado, and eel avocado. All of the ingredients were fresh and tasted great. They seem to have some creative special rolls on their menu, so will have to try them out.

I rarely write Yelp reviews, but Yiku Sushi is a hidden gem on Muddy Branch in Gaithersburg, very near Crown, Rio, Lakelands, and the Kentlands! They surprised me with the cute umbrellas for this party platter on my dish. Everything is fresh and delicious!

I used to order frequently from this restaurant, but service has steadily gone down. Tonight it took 2 hours for delivery and only after pestering the app company. Calling the restaurant did nothing - no one answered. Food was cold and obviously sat at the restaurant for a long time. The only explanation from the delivery driver was that they were busy. No other explanation or compensation. That’s fine… my business can go other places

Yiku sushi used to be my go to localsushi spot, but unfortunately I have noticed a decrease in quality. Sushi tasted very bland and felt like i was eating mostly rice. My rating is soley based on taste alone. -shrimp tempura roll: actual shrimp was very tiny, felt like I was eating mostly batter and rice. The batter did not taste seasoned and there was very little sauce so it was like just eating plain shrimp with white rice. -spicy salmon roll: did not taste like salmon AT ALL, more like flavorless fish. There was barely any of the sauce that makes it a spicy salmon roll and it tasted almost nothing. Same complaint about the rice.

Sushi delivered was outstanding as usual. The freshest in the area. Ordered multiple raw fish rolls and all were delicious. Thank you.

I've only ordered takeout/delivery with Yiku so far.My usual sushi spots tend to be on the pricier side. So it's nice to have an option where you can get good sushi and more bang for your buck! The rolls here are on the larger side. And the sashimi is THICK.They have great lunch sushi and sashimi specials. I like that their spicy rolls don't have the crunch inside (as a filler). The spicy rolls are mostly fish and light sauce. If you add crunch, it gets sprinkled on top! The avocado and sashimi are always fresh!Prices are super reasonable.Service is quick and good.

One of the best kept secrets in MoCo. The food at Yiku is always delicious, and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend!

Love this place. Very nice crew and their specialty sushi is well made ! Was sad to see they were closed during covid, but glad they are back and making same quality sushi as they were before. Well done!

Very hit or miss with this restaurant in terms of sushi quality. If your looking for cheap eats that's passable, this place will work. Pros: great lunch specials and portion size. Miso soup is yummy, hard to get this wrong but some places do. Cons: sushi quality in general, especially the eel and spicy tuna which have a overly fishy taste.

Generous portions, competitive prices, ice cold sashimi, and tastes super fresh. Best part is the free stuff the owners throw in often. If you're feeling like sashimi, give this place a try!
