Good chicken and no waitUpdated review:Went recently and now you have to place order at register which isn't a deal breaker but for dining in ??‍♂️. Also for drinks you have to grab a bottle beverage now. Still no alcohol drinks which is fine. Now you don't even get plates. You get food in your to-go container and if you dine-in, you get those cheap flimsy dollar store white paper plates( you know the ones you gotta use 3/4 plates lol) and carry-out utensils smdh. What happened to this place? It's a shame because the chicken and bulgogi fried rice is still good but geeez! I'd rather drive further out for Bonchon now. They might as well just turn this into a carryout! Because that's exactly how you feel when you Dine in here! Even a half filled ranch cup is a dollar...wthAnd yes prices still high for the terrible experience you'll get while dining inside. So do yourself a favor and order to go at this location!

I would not be back here. The chicken was extremely over cooked/burnt. The fries had no flavor and the atmosphere of the restaurant just seemed run down.

Dine in service is completely absent. Once food was served, it was pretty much cafeteria style they dont check on you... I had to ask for the pickled radish, and this was well after our meal was done. No water refill, no extra napkins. No apologies. I have been to many franchise locations from California to Maryland, and this location takes the cake for horrendous. I couldn't get past the horrible service to even taste my food. Why was everything served in to-go containers? -24pcs soy garlic -Japchae -2 steamed rice -pickled radish Management, please work with your staff on service. Please close your dining area if you're understaffed, and let customers know that takeout is only available at the given time. $66.67 wasted... disappointing 1st visit to this location. Yikes.

The guy at the register had a attitude and acted like he didn’t want to be there…constantly on his phone and acting careless when trying to explain your order. The restaurant over has looked dark inside since the pandemic.. I don’t know if they do that purposely to drive ppl away from dining in or what but it looks depressing inside and it’s a little pricey. The soy garlic wings could use seasoning on the chicken, the batter on the chicken is good though. Their ranch dips they charge you for aren’t even filled up in those containers, if you want to charge 95 cents for dip you need to fill them up.

I’ve ordered from here several times. The food is decent, don’t expect it to be authentic. Today I decided to dine in and I’ll never do that again. The server today was nice. But it was colder inside than it was outside. Guessing by how flimsy and cheap the paper plates and forks were, they probably don’t turn the heat on to save money. I’ll stick to ordering to go.

It was decent. Food wasn’t terrible, but everything came out in to go containers. Paper plates and plastic utensils given to you at the table. I guess maybe get it to go…? No point in eating in the restaurant. Service is non existent. But still the food wasn’t amazing.

They served on paper plates, gave food in paper bags and made you be the waiter for ordering your food. And we were the only ones there. Lady literally alt said “take a menus and come up to me when you’re ready to order.

I ordered the tteokbkki and the dish was nothing what iwas described on the menu, it was disgusting....ONLY fish cake, and rice cake with regular onions. NO mozzarella cheese,, barley any sauce I've had this dish at other location, and it was delicious. . Bonchon is too expensive for franchise owners to not deliver the dishes how they are met too.

Stopped in to try the wings based on reviews. We tried the soy and spicy wings along with some fries. Really wasn’t a Fan of the wings due to the hard crunchy bread covering. It was hard and a lot of it. The soy and spicy flavors were not my taste but others in our party had a different opinion and thought it was good. Wings were large. The fries were very good. Service was fast and appropriate. No prior experience with Korean style wings so this likely influenced opinion. The lunch special $13 for 8 large wings and fries seem like a deal if you like it.

The food has been terrible! Tasteless fried chicken wings and legs, some kind of gooey coating on the fried chicken, cole slaw tasted days old, and even the Korean Tacos were not good. I used to be a fan of Bonchon when they first opened here in Crofton, MD. I believe since the pandemic in 2020, things went downhill at this eatery. Time and time again I have gone back hoping the food would improve. I am at my last straw with patronizing this eatery. I've had awesome Korean fried chicken before, but that was in Denver, CO!!! If anyone knows of a place in MD or Washington DC area, please post the place. Otherwise I will have to learn how to make it on my own. I've been meaning to do a review since last year, but with the latest purchase on November 22, 2023, it reminded me I need to share my voice on how the quality has diminished. I always take my food to go, so I cannot comment on service or atmosphere. How dare they try to include a tip on the bill when we are picking up food to go??? So fed up by this practice!

Just skip this chain. The amount of meat in the bulgogi tacos is insufficient to the point of seeming to be a joke. Less than a single bite of meat per taco for $17 . The rest is stuffed with lettuce to make you think you got a decent portion. The chicken and gyoza all tastes refried and slimy. We're over it.
