The Cajun shrimp and grits was tasty, though I could have gone for a bit more andouille sausage. The chicken schnitzel was also good, but the carrots that came with were not baby. They were basically boiled, peeled, full sized carrots. A little char on them might have helped. One thing to note, the beer selection was very limited.
Kennedy was a lively server & treated us, 2 seniors searching for different eatery, very kindly. Shrimp and grits got 5 stars from my friend. My minestrone soup was the best I’ve ever had. I wanted the recipe! Served in a cast iron mini casserole, it stayed warm and savory.Definitely will be back to thank Christian, the manager again, I’m sure.
