Solid place for soups and Korean comfort food. Had their handmade noodle with short necked-clam soup and it was everything I had hoped for.

Really solid kamjatang. Just recently discovered this spot and so glad I did. The bon chons they give you with the meal are great too.

Love this place. We have known this place since 2016.. and loved going here occasionally but since we moved further away we were sad that we couldn't come here like we used to. Everytime we have things to take care around the area, we come here! Its a must for us! My husband loves the gamjatang here which he claims to be best for his taste. I love their kimbabs, jjolmyun, kalguksoo(except for kimchi one-just my preference) We are on the way again today hahaha Wanna try their kongguksoo! Her kimchi gutjery(like salad type kimchi) is the best too!

This place is very friendly and most importantly food here are delicious whatever you order. And surprisingly very cheap. Lady here definitely knows how to cook. I've been coming here many years now. Sometimes frustrating because I forget and came on Wednesdays...and they are closed. You will not be disappointed here...not kidding. I don't know them but would like to praise for good food. Just great food at very reasonable price. And so much friendlier than next door...with their higher prices and disappointing food that I have tried in the past due to HAPPY closing on Wednesdays.

Ordered two kimbaps here. Personally, I think that it was good and I felt like my mom had packed me lunch for school (food had a homey flavor/taste- if that makes sense) I feel like the food made here is definitely authentic. I can't wait to go back and try something new.

First-rate vibes and very welcoming service. The menu was crisp and delicious. Will easily recommend this spot to others. Affordable rates and generous portions. Keep up the great work.

Korean food and the setting here is better than most. Got there about one, it wasn't busy. The place has a nice atmosphere.

Hangry after the Elite event at Black Hill park, I took advantage of the collection of nearby highly rated places that Mike thoughtfully posted, and found a review by a Korean Yelp friend that extolled the kimchi. It's a little booth in the food court area of Lotte Plaza market. Limited menu but better that than spreading too thin. I got gamjatang, pork neck stew also called hangover soup, 5th amendment on whether I actually needed that. Came out bubbling in a stone bowl, with an extra bowl to dump the bones. The pork just fell off the bones, a good thing because they have nooks and crannies like oxtail. Broth was thick and complex, with enough heat to blast out your sinuses as well as any hangover. Banchan simple but excellent: sweet and sour radish shreds, blanched cabbage with sesame oil dressing, and kimchi. If that kimchi isn't the world's best (other than mom's), it's certainly on the podium. Perfect crisp/ tender fermentation, balanced flavors, medium heat. Nom. Tip of the hat to Jason for finding this hidden gem. Just what I needed on a brisk fall day.

I had the tuna kimbap. It's a good value and a lot of food. One thing I didn't realize is that it came with some kind of meat (ham, I think), so if you don't eat that, ask for it without. Would order from here again.

It's not a glamorous place. It is not the cleanest place on earth. However, if you are getting some of the traditional Korean food meals and want it relatively cheap in the area, this is the place to go for Takeout. Not many precautions for the pandemic, but I think the bare minimum was achieved as there is no more sitting down and most people take out anyways. It just all depends on how far other people stand and wait with you. As for the food, it does its job. It satisfies those cravings that you have and you are able to say that you are good to go. I do not know of many Korean places in the Germantown area so this place always comes to mind whenever I am craving it. The prices for either seafood and meat at this particular place is quite high. The amount of food is generous to standard in relation to the price. The quality of the food is freshly made to order. I do have to give points for that. Even though it may take a while to eat ready, they make it as you order it. If you want other Korean foods that are not on this place's menu then there are two other places right next to it so make orders. You can order 1 thing at each place and they are okay with that.

Very kind and nice owner. I usually go there when they are not busy. Never visited Sat and Sun. The only decent Korean food in this area!

I've been ordering food from this place for years but the owners have always been rude. Not just once but on 2 separate occasions they said they couldn't take my order for kimbahp because they were busy when they clearly were not busy. As if it takes so much time and effort to make one roll of kimbahp. I have never heard of a restaurant not wanting to sell food. Too bad because the food is good...but it's not like it's so fabulous that I have to go back for more abuse (you are not the soup N****** No kimbahp for you!

I tried ordering kimbap here and the guy was nice at first, but then he rung it up. I gave him my card and he just pointed at a sign on the register (that said the minimum credit card order is $10) and walked away. I should have seen and read the sign, sorry about that, but he just pointed dismissively and walked away. Kinda rude.
