This is a terrible idea

Staff always friendly and helpful. Product is always good and if not the make it right. Great selection. Only constructive criticism is that the deli needs to stop cross contaminating the slicers. Should never process pork with any other item, and any type meat and cheese should never be sliced on the same machine unless u clean them in between properly. Otherwise store is great and prices are reasonable

I used to love this store but it's becoming increasingly difficult to continue to patronize it. Went to pick up a few things yesterday evening. No regular size tomatoes. There were 3 small broccoli crowns left.. picked up 2 (cut it tonight and was full of bad spots - tossed it), Butter was almost sold out. I wanted a french baguette, nope none. What is with this store? I do like that many staple items are less expensive than Giant or Safeway but other items are more. I should've left empty-handed and gone to Giant or Safeway - at least with those stores my points go towards gas discount. Not sure what giving Wegman's my phone number gets me.

This coffee shop is a hidden gem! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a cozy atmosphere and the enticing aroma of freshly brewed coffee. The baristas are true experts, crafting personalized coffee delights with beautiful latte art. Their commitment to sustainability is admirable, and the menu offers a wide range of delicious options. It's the perfect place to relax, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy a great cup of coffee. Highly recommended!

Before dinner in Germantown, my fiance and I went to Wegman's to browse their selection of produce and products. We ended up getting a variety of Kettle and Fire and Wegman's bone broths. Next time, we'll have to try Mini Crabcakes, Pretzel Twist with Crab Stuffing, and other appetizers.

I come to Wegman's at least once a week. I am sure that for spinach wraps that I am their best customer. I buy 3 spinach wraps at a time-- generally twice a week almost every week of the year. Not quite 300/ year. The food is fresher than at Subway. I like the staff, and people refer to this Wegman's as "your store". (ie, were you at your store this week). To me, the spinach wraps with fresh veggies, roast beef and turkey are very tasty. And I find that most of the time when I speak to people, they are at least business-friendly.However, it IS a business, and if they weren't busy, they would--and have--gotten less hours. When I compare them to workers at other grocery stores, IMO, their service tends to be better. Especially when comparing to some of the managers and supervisors at some branches of Safeway. In one instance, even when I had someone from HQ on the phone, they would give me any cash back for a check, and refused to speak to a headquarters employee. I don't bother with certain branches any more.

Nothing special here. It's a grocery store. They have a good selection, and a lot of organic and specialty items, but when they don't have something, and they ask if you found everything, you can tell them what you'd like to see and they have no idea what to do.

Love this food store! Only 2 issues. People are getting food and beverages and sitting down partaking without paying for it. And second, we saw someone in the bakery asking some question regarding desserts also, why they were not wearing gloves. The guy working there got totally Irate and called for security. This was Completely and Totally Uncalled for! The security should be catching folks STEALING food instead of looking for people making Simple inquiries about the food! If I did not witness this, 5 Stars for Wegmans!

Why did you limit the dining eating area to 7pm? I would come here but no longer. Used to come here and buy a frozen dinner and microwave it and eat it in the seating area. But no longer. So don't come here anymore.

Okay, so this is the first and only Wegmans I have been to, and I will say that I am not overly impressed. Major pros (for me):1) their produce is usually pretty good quality (in comparison to several other grocery stores in the area)2) they have a pretty good selection of 'specialty' items, as well as international items (specifically Asian food items - which is nice if you aren't sure where your local Asian market is, or are intimidated by the experience)3) the food quality all around is arguably better than some of the competitors in the near area.Major cons (for me):1) it is a bit pricey in my opinion, especially for some regular run of the mill items2) I HATE the way this store is set up. Don't ask me why, I just really do not like it (such a personal complaint lol)3) They tend to not have enough cashiers and registers open and available for patrons to check out. I mean, I believe that you're weird if you go to places like the grocery store in a hurry, but still, no one wants to experience what they may consider Walmart-type waiting in lines at a nicer grocery store like Wegmans.Overall, the store is fine. I wouldn't sing the praises from the rooftop or anything, but I would definitely visit again, specifically for the produce.
