This place was recommended to my husband and I by a few friends, so we decided to check it out. We went on a Thursday evening. The main dining area was fairly empty so we decided to sit in the Bar area. We were greeted by a waitress after a few minutes. We placed orders for drinks and food. The drink I received was subpar. To which the waitress offered to have it remade. This is where the issue started. She returned my drink to the bar. When the bartender was handed the drink she loudly stated, “NO, I’m not remaking the drink. I’m tired of remaking drinks. Asking for no ice doesn’t get you more alcohol etc etc”. The waitress tried to get her to lower her tone but that was to no avail. Other patrons and myself were shocked at the response bc it was completely abrupt, unprofessional, and rude. Our waitress returned to the table and I promptly asked to speak with a manager. I spoke with Kim, who apologized to us for the experience and offered to serve us in the main dining room. Since our food order was already in we agreed. We received our food and honestly, it was just subpar. The crab cakes were good but the sides were lacking flavor. Our service in the dining area was going well until, the bartender decided to gripe about it in the main dining area to another employee. I brought this to Kim’s attention. She ensured us, “That’s not how we do business or service. I hope yall will return so we can show you better.” I declined. We received our check. Our beverages were comp’d.The bartenders piss poor service and the subpar food ruined the experience for us. We will not be returning.

Had the Garden Salad with Italian dressing. Followed by the pepper steak and rice, which wasn't exactly what I expected. The steak was slightly overcooked and the salad left something to be desired. The waitress was great and Happy Hour drinks were more than reasonable. The overall ambiance was folksy and I would definitely visit again, but next time I will refrain from ordering the pepper steak and rice.

We have never been here before. The girl that brought our water sat them down and did not say anything or even look at us. THE WATER IS GOOD. We waited a good 15 minutes and no one came to our table. They set the tables up for a bigger party and cleared the table beside us. The place was only 1/4 full so it was obvious we had not been waited on. As we were walking out the door a lady approached us she was not aware we were there.

So I went for Karoake with Sam on a Saturday and we had a great time. If you want food you need to come early, so I can’t tell you about that. But I can tell you if you want to have fun that the crowd is great and the staff serving drinks are nice and work hard. The only thing that I wish was better is the size of the room that karoake was in, it’s tight and you’re going to be close to the table next to you! But again good time to be had

I hated the food... we ordered Chicken Alfredo, fried seafood platter, baked chicken wings with 24k on the side, and clam strips, with baked potato, green beans, and Cole Slaw... my fried seafood had literally NO TASTE! The Alfredo was the same, not one grain of salt was present that day... idk if I ordered the wrong things or what. Fried chicken was good tho

Stop by Romano's for Sunday dinner - best Veal Cordon Bleu in the area. Started with excellent Greek salad ad house dressing. Wife had grilled shrimp salad.

We went their on a Saturday early evening we had reservations for 18 and it was crowded. We had to wait a bit. The items on the menu were expensive to some of us. My sister and I ordered the broiled seafood plater ($40+) and there was 2 scallops 2 shrimp 1 supposedly lump crab cake 1 peice of flounder which was terrible and an oyster with lump crab meat on top well my platter was not lump yea lump with flour or bread I don't know but they must have ranned out my sister said her food was too salt but she had lots of lump meat in hers. My husband was disappointed in his food also he had the chicken and shrimp which he only got 3 shrimp ($30+) we also had ordered 2 glass of red wine I had asked was it sweet she said no but why did she bring me white wine I don't drink white why didn't she ask before assuming. Well never again! My check was $120+. The people in our party that ordered pasta well their plates were piled to the ceiling! Lol! Smh!

I wouldn't advise going there when it's busy because they apparently rush the cooking process and didn't get one of my orders right, I ordered a double fried crab cake platter and my mother said that it wasn't cooked properly and was still kind of doughy in texture, and I ordered what was supposed to be crab imperial and a medium well steak but when I got home and opened the container it was lobster tail and a still rare and bloody piece of steak. I guess I should have checked the containers before leaving the restaurant so that's on me, but anyway the food was terrible and I won't be returning anytime soon.

Romano's is still a great place to eat. Best softball sized lump crab cakes (if your from Maryland you can appreciate), kids steak was delicious and definitely big enough for a adult to eat. If your not into seafood or steak, they have plenty of different options. Never had anything bad from here. Even the hot roast beef platter with mashed potatoes is a go to here.
