First of all great food, but pricey $$$ and the wait to get your food. For the price and for the wait, they should start giving chips and salsa. That’s right, no chips and salsa. I might go back there for the food, but the price might make me think twice.

If you want to enjoy some very large margaritas stop by! Additionally, the food is great, I highly recommend the paella. It was delicious and beautifully presented.

Blood on the delivery bag and several missing items. The manager did not care.

Went there yesterday with husband and it wasn't terrible but it wasn't great. We were seated and it took 15 minutes before anyone came by to give us water or acknowledge us. My husband is Mexican and I am Puertorrican and we were just so sad that they didn't have chips and salsa. The restaurant doesn't claim to be fully Mexican but it does have mostly Mexican dishes and so we were expecting at least chips and salsa. Actually they have no salsa! They also don't have any frozen margaritas only on the rocks. We ordered the queso with chorizo and it was ORANGE CHEESE not the typical Mexican delicious white cheese. The chips were bland. I ordered the carne asada and although the flavor was good with the chimichurri the meat was not cooked liked I ordered it ( I wanted well done and it was red inside). The rice was good! I wanted another margarita and had to wave down the host after waiting 20 minutes for our server to come by. By this point we were done with our meal. We drove 30 minutes to go and the service was subpar and so was the food. We would not return. It's also very expensive! We spent $150 for two people!

Great neighborhood place. Everyone was friendly and the food was delicious! We had the traditional guacamole, maduros, birria, al pastor, and shrimp with chorizo tacos on corn tortillas. Fantastic. Definitely get the habanero salsa if you like a kick. The sangria was fruity but not super sweet. Well done.

Outstanding restaurant. Not purely Mexican - I would say Central American. Quick, outstanding service. Everything is fantastic. Shrimp chorizo tacos and enchiladas supremas are our favorites. No real dessert menu - they only have one - tres leches cake, and it’s to die for.

It is great to have Cilantro Cantina in the neighborhood! Everybody there is so friendly! I went in asking about getting food for a party and wasn't quite sure that I was going to end up with what we needed. It turned out perfect -- they were so thoughtful with how the food was prepared and packaged. The highlight for our group was a "taco bar" and it was a big hit. All of the food was delicious!! Thanks, Cilantro Cantina!

Super chill & relaxing can hear your table conversation. Great food. Been here 2x and both were fantastic. Chicken wings are the best around. And 4 different dinners were fantastic.

We live really close, so we end up going several times a month. We've gone for weekday lunch, weekend lunch, and weekday dinner takeout. Food and portions are great. Service is usually wonderful. My only two complaints are there's no changing table in the bathroom and the past 4-5 times me and/or my husband ordered the steak fajitas the steak was overcooked. It should be easy for the kitchen to spot because they slice it before plating. I usually order medium, but it comes out with no pink at all and once was burned. The most recent time I ordered medium rare hoping for something closer to medium. It was medium well/well done. A few pieces had hints of pink. I'm disappointed because the steak fajitas used to be absolutely incredible and both my and my husband's favorite menu item.

I had called this restaurant couple of weeks prior to our group lunch to confirm if they accept reservations for a large group & I was told that they would. When I called again to make the reservations I was told that the owners tell patrons that they accept reservations but end up not making them so people who arrive on the day of the event thinking they have reservations end up waiting forever since tables are full. I would give 0 stars if I could.

This place was recommended and they weren't wrong. I ordered the carne asada, described as 16 oz certified angus boneless short rib with a chimichurri sauce, cilantro rice, and refried beans. My plate came with two steaks, the rice and delicious beans (I'd go back just for the beans). I sat at the small bar and the bartender, I think his name was Ronnie, was absolutely delightful. I'll definitely go back when I'm in the neighborhood.
