“Title: "Sweet Spot with Room for Improvement"Review: "Dessert First Dockside is a charming coffee and dessert bar offering a variety of hot and cold drinks alongside an appealing sweet menu. We tried the banana chocolate ice cream; while it didn’t quite wow us, it was satisfactory. The ambiance is delightful, but the price point for a small ice cream at $4 seemed a bit steep. It's a lovely place for a dessert stop, especially if you're exploring dockside delights, but there’s potential for the wow factor in their offerings”
“Small bare bones restaurant with really good, and ample servings. I had eggplant Parmesan with spaghetti and a Caesar salad. Not fancy, but great price and good food. Staff was super friendly and provided everything I asked for.”
“Love the convenience of it being close to home, extremely friendly, always knows my order, and brings it to me in my car rain or shine. Can't wait for them to come back!!”
“Fabulous dining experience every time! Quality, taste, and preparation of food; service; and ambiance. Parking, no problem. Can't say enough about this place. Husband and I frequent this restaurant for lunch and dinner many times. We have never been disappointed! Thank you for everything! ❤️Vegetarian options: Peruse menu.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp into establishment.”
“Had a really wonderful dinner here. The view was spectacular and the service was phenomenal. We tried a ton of stuff but our favourites were the Cream of Crab soup and the Crab Cakes. We would absolutely come ”
“My friends and I stopped at the outlet mall in Queenstown, and to our surprise we found the Spanky’s food truck in the parking lot. The menu included many items that we were interested in trying including their crabcakes. We ordered chicken wings with fries, crabcake sandwiches, and a crabcake dinner with fries and fried cabbage. The chicken, crabcakes, fries and cabbage were great to the point where we went back to get some additional food to take home!”
“This place was really good !!!The fried oysters was really good as well as the crab cake sandwich!!Had to come back 2 visits in one day !! Thank Liz and Haley upstairs for all there help and recommendations !!See you all again !!Major Chesapeake Bay go to place !!!!”
“I ordered pu from here 6 times in 2023. It's a good Denny's. To my immediate recollection only the Dennys in Montgomery Village, MD was better (now gone or being renovated idk).Waitstaff are always friendly and smiling. The cook is good, fast, and deserves more than he's being paid. Also friendly and I've seen him cover the register whilst also cooking.Big accessible parking lot, room for your RV or to turn around a trailer”
“Everyone of the bartenders are good people shout out to Chris with a great hustle to your needs! You can find your kind of music to dance to any given weekend.. I suggest the avocado toast for breakfast”
“Takes us about an hour from Baltimore, but always worth the drive. My husband and I enjoy sampling the flight, then get our fave as a regular drink for the drive home. There is always something new for the season! The shop vibe is very cute and the people that work there are always sooo friendly! I'm sure the woman with the baby attatched to her hip is the owner, we are in awe with how hard she works!! Thank you for this lovely little coffee house, we always enjoy making the trip here! <3”
“An amazing, small town brewery and a fun spot to spend on a weekend night! All the beers are made in house and the staff/bartenders could not have been nicer. The ciders, IPAs, and fruity beers are definitely a hit! They even do special beers like a "peep" flavored beer for Easter. Can't wait to come back here soon and try all the delectable beer they have to offer!”
“I love the Sandwich Brisket. The meat is a perfect level of juicyness and fat that doesn't overwhelm the entire sandwich. The coleslaw that is included in the burger is not excessively sweet and doesn't cancel out the brisket flavor. The dining area is clean and the lamp heaters work inredibly well to keep the area warm in the cold. The waiters are polite and work confidentally as well. 10/10 Will be coming back and recommend yall to come visit!”
“we are so lucky to have a few stellar coffee shops in our town! If you're reading this review please also visit Dessert First & Lovely Little Coffee at the outlets. Yo Java Bowl has the best food, Dessert First has the best view & LLC has the best flights!”
“Our daughter was married this past September and Peace of Cake made an absolutely beautiful cake for the wedding. BUT not only was it beautiful it tasted amazing. I am writing this review in February as we are thoroughly enjoying a left over piece today that we froze, reminding me to write the review. The cake was exactly as the bride and groom requested, the staff was amazing and they delivered it to the wedding venue with no extra charge. When we went to meet with the owner, we were met with a large selection of samples to take with us. EVERY single one was so good. We also have enjoyed their other pastries and will stop here every chance we get when we cross over the bay bridge.”
“The food is great, the drinks are better, the staff is very friendly. Haven't waited for a table yet, always see someone we know there. It certainly is establishing itself as a place to gather.A year later and they are going strong. The live music (especially Chris) is killing it. The wait staff seems to really enjoy working there which makes it better.Vegetarian options: I'm sure you can eat meatless and get a really good meal here.Parking: Huge shared parking lot just outside the front door.Kid-friendliness: There ae always young children there and they seem to be having good times.Wheelchair accessibility: It's at street level with HC parking not far.”
“They have the finest high school and college kids that work there! They’re so kind and customer service oriented. The shakes that are made are works of art! Everything is delicious. Highly recommend getting the sundae/ shake of the holiday/ day if they have one!”
“I stopped by today after following this shop on Facebook. The lady working was super sweet and welcoming. I ordered a regular coffee with cream and sugar and it was some of the best coffee I've ever had. Smooth and not bitter. Next time I'm gonna see if they sell their ground coffee to take home. I also hope they have stickers or patches next time cause I will buy one and advertise for them!”
“Great dining out. Friendly staff and the food came out quick! Everything was delicious. The only (minor) feedback I would give is that the mashed potatoes were salty. (I can always add my own salt to taste.) Will definitely be going back.”
“the best pakistani food i've eaten in the states. service was great, caring and kind employees. ambiance is friendly and homey. def recommend would rate 10 starts if i could.”
“Fantastic atmosphere, ice cream is perfect. The hot fudge sundae comes in a sugar cone cup! If you're near Stevensville, at a resort, visiting PRS guitars, or looking for a rest after the Bay Bridge, here's your refreshment center! See for yourself.”
“I spent a week in Italy in 2017 and this place took me back. Had a lovely view by the window but the ambience inside gave me the best of both world. I was thinking about ordering the lobster ravioli but after asking about the Seven Fishes pasta, I was convinced to try it. So delicious and full of fresh seafood. Check out the amount of fresh crab loaded on top. Highly recommend.”
“Unbelievable Pupusas. I have tried them everywhere, this place has the best I have ever had. I had cheese/jalapeno. It was perfect, not greasy, fluffy masa. Amazing, great job ”
“I didn't have anything to eat. Love that they have a couple of sizes of beer to try different ones. One big difference is they serve hard liquor. Great pours. The place is jammed but the staff does a good job of handling it with a smile. They have a small entertainment venue separate from the main area. The sound system was a bit muddied but they figured it out. Excellent find and will be back.”
“Nice menu and beer selection. Was an older, lively crowd present while I was there on a Saturday afternoon(fine by me as I'm older lol). Loved the Philly egg rolls!”
“The food was hit or miss. Great roasted carrots. Delicious rib eye. Salmon was disappointing. But what made it 5 star was the service. My wife asked for cod instead of rockfish. I was waiting for the "not possible" or upcharge but our waitress Morgan sweet talked the chef and made it happen. She was a gem! We will be back.”
“I went in on a Friday morning, in desperate need of delicious baked goods for weekend company. The lovely lady that helped me fill my order was just wonderful and the pastries and doughnuts I took home were delicious, fresh and truly the feature of our breakfasts over the weekend! Everything was done to perfection and I will absolutely be coming back. A true gem!”
“Everything was extraordinarily delicious! They did not have Tataki on the menu but they made it when asked and it was so good! I always love ginger salad but their dressing was better than I’ve ever had. He got the crusted salmon and I got salmon/tuna avocado roll. Fresh and perfect. Loved it all!”
“We went here for Sunday brunch right when they opened, so no wait, but it quickly filled up to about 60% full. The breakfast buffet was great. They had fruit, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, French toast, smoked salmon, and some mini bagels. The wait staff was very attentive and we didn't have to ask for refills. We did not get any alcoholic drinks, but the people at the bar looked like they were having a great time at 9am on a Sunday.Parking: Plenty of free parking.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on the ground floor and is easily wheelchair accessible.”
“Have driven an hour to visit this store for years. Love their variety of chocolates, chocolate covered apples of many flavors. I have tried other chocolate stores and have always come back to this one. Staff is really helpful as well. Heading your way soon for chocolate bunnies. This place has not disappointed. ”

“I went there with my BFF on a Thursday around 11:30 for an early lunch. We were seated outside on the water and our server was wonderful! I ordered the Crispy Brussels Sprouts for our appetizer and they were DELICIOUS! I highly recommend them for a fresh, savory opening to your meal. My friend ordered the Seafood Tacos and I ordered the Classic Reuben Sandwich. We were both absolutely delighted with our choices! My Reuben had the best, melt-in-your-mouth corned beef, just the right amount of sauerkraut and perfect dash of dressing on a beautifully swirled marble rye. We will absolutely be back! Thank you to the staff at Bridges for a truly fantastic lunch experience!”
