Website says they close at 10pm. I got there at 9 and they were closed. They need to either fix their time on the website or close at the time it says cause I wasted my time coming all the way down there.

One of my favorite spots for Jollof rice, very nice family that owns this restaurant…blessings to them!

Food is great. Very authentic. Location and esthetics is a bit lacking luster and not desirable. Staff is friendly. I have been several times and feel the food quality is consistent. Price is nice as well

Great, no-frills West African place. Jodeem easily outpaces regional competitors on flavors. Earthy, spicy, sweet in all the right proportions. We got the bitter leaf soup with beef, spinach and beans with chicken, and beef patties. The bitter greens were the clear winner in fragrance and

Passed by this place sooo many times walking through the mall, but I never stopped in... until now! There are a few tables and a big menu outside the restaurant itself, so I took a minute to look at that. I decided to get the porridge yam (Asaro) with chicken and greens. It took about 20 minutes, so I decided to run to the gym and get a quick workout in while waiting. It took another minute or so when I got back, but the staff were very friendly and apologetic for the wait! They showed me the food before putting it in the bag. I got very excited! I got home, started a movie and dug in. The chicken and greens were good, but the Asaro was DEFINITELY the star of the show. So very flavorful and satisfying! My only wish is that there was more of the porridge itself! I could have an entire bowl of that alone! I will definitely be back to Jodeem to try more menu items.

I like the taste of the food. I am not from Africa. I will keep spending my money there for good food.

Excellent food. Great place. Maps had the location in the wrong place so I suggested an edit with a new map marker. It took almost 20 minutes to find it with the wrong map location, but it was definitely worth it!Hope the edit and new marker help more people find this place!

For Mother's Day we surprised my mom with dinner. I called Jodeem ahead of time and was told to call just the day before! I called two days before lol placed my order and picked it up Mother's Day! We ordered stewed fish, stewed chicken, puff puff, spinach, plantain and jollof rice. Everything was delicious!! My mom took the left over food home too and really enjoyed it. My go to place for a quick dish when we don't feel like cooking!!! I have had the egusi soup, and meat pies before also which are also delicious.

Great food, I always order the Egusi soup with goat. Very very good. Their Jollof rice is probably the best in the area. And don't forget a side of spinach, delicious!! It's a small family owned restaurant and everyone is always helpful. Now its not the most attractive setting, a little outdated, but hey the food is really good.

I really tired to like this place. I got 2 different dishes and was not impressed. Maybe it's the region of west Africa and the way the dishes are prepared but it was not what I expected. I usually go to a Nigerian place and their food it always on point.

The food was good. Service could have been better. They weren't the most helpful. The ambiance of the restaurant was hostile (I come from a more privileged area so it may just be the area)

This place is a hidden gem ? I was picking up a GrubHub order for a Customer when I discovered this restaurant, so I decided to try it out myself and was not disappointed…They give considerable portions, and the staff is very gracious… Ever since then I’ve been eating there at least twice a week… if you’re into eating some authentic tasty African food. I highly recommend giving this place a try.
